Medication!? Empty Medication!?

Hi Ladies,

I am after some advice please!?

Firstly I know everyones different, but was just wondering what you ladies thought... :smiler:

I am now 4 days post op, and have stopped my strong pain meds, just taking ibroprofan, as and when i need it. However ive got to go to uni tommorrow for 4 hours, (cant really afford to miss it!) seats are uncomfy, i will have to take notes and im a bit worried about how i will be, as and although the pain has turned into more of a uncomfort, today (and yesterday), however when i try to do 'too much' my body lets me know!

Sooo, was thinking, maybe i should take some codrydamol in the morning and take it with me just incase? How were all your experiences of returning to work.

Sorry for the essay, what do you think? seeing stars

I was on paracetamol from day 2 Hun and as you say body tells you when you done too much do you mean tired. This is what I had just tiredness rather then pain if this is the case Hun painkillers are not gonna help with that. Take them with you it's not going to hurt and if you start to feel achey at least you have them to hand but don't overdo it chick your still healing xx

You can take a couple of paracetamol with a 500mg ibuprofren if you need to, this will strengthen the pain killer, but if you feel you can do without lovely, you're best to just take as little pain killers as possible.

But if need be, you can top the strength up with a couple of paracetamol. xx

Thanks all,

Not going to lie....Uni was quite difficult, chairs are awful so main issue was uncomfort!

I took 2 ibroprofen this morning and haven't had any since, although when I got home at 3 I was so shattered that I slept until 7!
Feel better after my sleep!
