How do i massage my scars?

My PS told me that i dont need my steristrips on now as ive healed.

He told me about massageing my scars, but when do i do this and how?

And can i use my sons cetraben or do i need something like that scar oil which i cant remember the name of right now!!! lol :)

I don't know what cetraben is, but most people use something for scars, usually an oily substance like bio oil or vitamin e oil etc. As for when to massage scars, he should really have told you when you can, do you have a follow up appointment, as they may tell you then. I waiting until I was told to massage by my surgeon and for me that was at 3 months post op.

I was told to start massaging at 6 weeks post-op after my first BA lovely, so maybe at just over a week, it's a little early just yet? especially for putting any oils or lotions on them as they are still very prone to infection.

I agree with misf1 and to wait until your check up date, but if you feel your surgeon did want you start massage so early, then a quick call just to check won't take a moment will it sweetie. xx
