Re: Going through the motions
Sorry to hear this cookie, it's discussing that you you have gone through today only to say its on the desision of someone else! Wtf?! The mind boggles...
Surely they must sve known if they needed the lady's approval. Well at least you've had the positive of the pre op bing okaed for 6 months but surely they should of had the approvals from everyone needed first.
Anyhow, I hope this all ends well for you and you get the go ahead :) x

Re: Going through the motions
no, i dont work in cosmetic surgery. i spend 5 days a week in various hospitals around the country with my daughter. my surgeon was very aware of this and as this increased my risk, timing of my pre op was rather important xx

Oh Cookie I'm sorry to hear they have messed you around again today. Your sixth sense was right unfortunetly. I agree with everyone else if Lindsey Mullins had never agreed it why was you there for a pre op makes no sense at all, if I were you Hun I'd be ringing her myself everyday until she gives the the approval, absolutely ridiculous can't not believe they have done this to you today xxx

I'm sorry to read your daughter is in such need dollydaydream - Big hugs for both of you
The MRSA swabs will be what has made all the difference then for me in comparison to yourself having to spend so much time at hospital.
misf1 and mrs ball -Yes, I find it terrible that they got me all the way to this stage only to be told 'Your surgery hasn't actually been approved yet!!! This after just being told the other day that I had the all clear! If Lindsay needed to approve this, then I agree with you mrs ball, why wouldn't she have done this in the first instance? I mean, what's the point of wasting my GPs time to send all of my surgical notes, my surgeons time going through a consultation with me and the nurses time today if this hasn't been approved?? It just makes no sense to me at all.
Mr Selvaggi agreed to revision over a year ago! Surely it should have been then that Lindsay would have given approval? Something just isn't fitting here at all.
I will be calling again before Monday like you suggested misf1, as you said, I shouldn't have to wait almost a week for a response after waiting 2 years for this to happen!, well, if you include the dates from the start of complaint about my scars, it's two and a half years! I think I'm going to have to wait longer than a week too.......
Thanks all

Re: Going through the motions
Id be ringing after 2 days saying that she said a couple of days and you hadent heard.
Surely they know you well enough by now that your not going to potter off and let this lie till they get in contact with you for god sake.
They realy are showing themselves to be a company that is not interested in customer care and only revenue.
Big Hugs hun xxxxxxxx

Re: Going through the motions
Oooh cookie, as you suspected then!... I would be very annoyed right now that they think they can waste your time calling you in for appointments but havent even authorised a re-op.
I think I would be ringing the pcc today. Am I right in thinking that lyndsey is the head office woman that is always on holiday?
I would def ring the pcc and say that you had your re-op yesterday and can you book your date for the op. what does the receptionist know!?!? Let her tell you that you still need to wait for approval and then you can go chicken oriental on their bums for thinking they can impose on your time by dragging you in for re-ops that haven't even had 'approval' yet ;) x x x

FC, if you have a good hour to spare, a packet of hobnobs and a pot of tea to keep you going feel free to read my diary [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. x
Kay, I am actually writing to Lindsay today. Having me go to a pre-op appointment KNOWING there was no actual point to my having it done at that was just step too far. I feel the management in this case has been terrible to say the least from to... well today, I'm not yet finished! xx
Lian, Lindsay Mullins is the compliance manager for the whole of Transform, she deals with anything that can't be dealt with within the individual clinics. I couldn't call the PCC today, I'm too angry babe and I know it's not her fault and I dont want to take something out on her when all of my frustration is targetted at Transform, not the girl just doig a job she's told to do... we all need a wage don't we. So I'll leave it a few days until I've calmed down I think lol. xx
Thanks you to all who have responded and all the hugs, I'm having a dressing gown and duvet day today so the hugs have just felt that much more lovely xxx
