Post op 'squareness'
I was just watching the 'stages of healing' video in the sticky and had the shock of my life when I saw how square that womans boobs were after her op.
Is the top just swelling cos that was one square titty. I think i'd burst into tears if I took my bra off for a peek and saw that. Is that normal??

ah Jem you do make me laugh heheJemmy wrote:Is the top just swelling cos that was one square titty
Yes its mostly swelling hun, plus the implant is squashed down under the muscle which is traumatised after the op, are you getting overs though? It wont be that bad yours may just be more high up at first then they'll drop much faster x
Re: Post op 'squareness'
Yea I am having overs Nads.
I'm glad I watched it have been trying for a while but wouldn't work. I'd die if mine stayed like that though.
Yes I did watch the end and they did look was just hell of a shock

Re: Post op 'squareness'
Jemmy, I had overs and mine just looked like Madonna cones, no squareness. They settled really quickly.

Re: Post op 'squareness'
Some have that real Franken-boob look going on for a while, really high up and square, i didnt myself, i guess it depends on the surgeon. I know usually with overs they look quite stuck on at first and then drop really nicely, Stefjl's are a good example if you've seen hers x

Mine were like cones aswell, my b.fnd actually admitted to me a few weeks ago that when i sent him a pic (as i had mine in turkey he didnt see them for 2 weeks) he said they looked like those plastic boobs with the string on that you get from joke shops

Re: Post op 'squareness'
I agree mine were (still are a little) like cones. when I took the bandages off the next day my O/H laughed his head off, not something you want after just paying all that money to improve the ones you dont like to have someone laugh at the new boobs. He had a row, men! no tact at all. I had overs but haven't had any squareness, but I know some people have, should be just swelling.

Re: Post op 'squareness'
That's Jemmy looking for anything now cos she's bored You will not end up with square boobs anyone!!!!!!!!
I was scared to look at mine initially....just soo alien ...just happy something was there, plus I was bandadged..but I know when I did see them... I think ten days, they were what is referred to as 'shiny pointy boobs' ...I actually liked them then.. bit strange when they turned into roundish boobs...but it was such a long long time since I had any boobs. I truly did not know what the end result should be, or really where on my chest they should be. I had never seen anyones boobs before.
Sounds crazy I know but that is truly how I felt...I was and am so Happy with them..and I found all my boobie friends here after three months and knew they were pretty normal.
So think happy thoughts Jemmy and everyone, it is truly worth the emotional journey. :hugme:xxx

Re: Post op 'squareness'
Well I'm glad I saw that, I was worried earlier mine had turned square, but they are nothing like that, mine just looked a little flat along the bottom, so if hers turned out ok in the end then I'm feeling ok now!

Re: Post op 'squareness'
.x. mine were really pointy and strange for the first few weeks but have settled down a lot now and more rounded. I wouldn't worry too much about ending up square

Re: Post op 'squareness'
Mine are a little 'flattened' along the bottom but nothing like those bad boys, they were really quite square
But WOW, they looked great really quick......she's gotta be happy with those

Re: Post op 'squareness'
They do, all it is is the muscle. Once it stretches and relaxes you won't be square at all. After about 6 weeks you'll notice loads of changes from day one.
