Worried about incision Empty Worried about incision

Post by Mummy me 4th September 2012, 1:22 pm

girls I am abit worried, when I had a look on Friday I was certain that both my insicisions were on my crease line and it also looks like this in the pictures I took. I had a look today with a mirror to see how they are healing and have noticed that the insicisions on my right boob is across the bottom bit of my boob so actually on it not in the crease. My hubby said it was definitl not on crease and it's probably where my boobs are changing that it's now there, any explanation for this, I know the scar itself can't suddenly move so what's happened? Xx

As your boobs swell hun, the incision may lift and raise higher on your boob. It's nothing at all to worry about and is very normal. As the swelling subsides the incision drops along with your boobs and settles nicely into the crease line. xx

Thanks so much Cookie, I went into a real panic and had same feelings I did on friday and had anxiety attack so you were right last week it was deffo looking at the scars that made me feel funny, I won't do this again til they have completely healed and I'm on strict orders from my hubby not to do so. I was worried that they would bottom out if the scar was suddenly higher! Xx

I was exactly the same after my surgery Mummy me. It's hard not to panic after wanting your boobs for so long isn't it.

Don't worry about asking about any concerns you have here. All of us post-op girls have all been where you are now and know exactly how it feels to worry about things you've never experienced before Worried about incision 571992xx

Thank you for your reassurances girls xx
MrsB I remember your post saying about it being on your boobie and panicked, it is a little high I would say about half inch- too scared too look again and check! Lol but I am certain as is hubby that it was originally in the crease, my friend has a great memory so I'm gonna show her a weekend see if she says it looks higher or not! Xx
