great £4000 and I don't look any different.
I'm 5 ft 2 size 4/6 7stone2 18 years of age and ive had my boobs done. originally 32a/b. maybe some will say I'm a bit young but I felt conscious. I had 300cc high profile and unders-deep because my frame is so small. 1 week post op and I feel like they're small. I don't look any different in clothes. I asked to be a D cup. but they do look like a b/c cup. I'm wearing a DD sports bra because I thought I was going to be bigger. there isn't much rippling in the bra. hardly any and I bought an underwired bra size 32d (early but I'm keen) and it fits me. but why do they look absolutely tiny without a bra on. and why In clothes are they small? I feel like I'veade a mistake. they're very far apart too. will they get bigger?!?!? xx

Hi blondie31 welcome to the forum!
Right now you are incredibly early post op and have MANY changes to go through. It can take unto a year to see the final result so don't put so much on what you see now. You will find as they settle they will drop and fluff giving the appearance of being bigger. I too found that in clothes mine didn't look any bigger but then pre-op I would wear thick gel-bra's so it was easy to forget that what was under my top was all boob (especially when they are still numb LOL).
As for being far apart, this is quite a common thing early PO and as they settle you will find it easier to bring them together and create a good amount of cleavage. As tempting as it maybe, do avoid wearing the underwire bra until you've had the all clear from your surgeon. x

Re: great £4000 and I don't look any different.
Hi Hun, I am one week post op too, I was 32b and had 260 overs surgeon said I could have 300 max but they would look stuck on me and fake. I decided to listen to his advice and went for the 260. I woke up and was gutted by the size infact I cried my eyes out and that's all I did all week and felt just as you do that I had wasted my money! until my post op yesterday when the tape came off and I loved them. I am just slightly heavier then you but the 300 would have been too big on my frame. You are already in a dd sports bra which is a good size I am only in a d and you have to remember that the sports bra doesn't do anything for us. I look no different in my clothing then I did when I wore a padded bra, but we are only a week post op and have loads of changes to go through. Also my nurse David my chest was still a little high in the middle and when that goes down my boobs would get slightly closer together so this may also be what's causing yours to be a little further apart at the moment. I am sure when they have begun to settle you will love them. I did a thread on here for 300 and under girls when I felt crappy and alone especially as so many women were having higher cc then me so feel free to add to that as well so you don't feel like your the only one with a low cc. As I said I am slightly bigger then you but you had 40cc more then me and my surgeon didn't think 300 would even fit me so being as you are smaller you probably wouldn't have been able to go much bigger anyway Hun. Re: great £4000 and I don't look any different.
Thanks ladies! I am very very worried that I won't drop an fluff because I'm young and my skin is so tight. my surgeon told me it was pretty tight for him to sew me back up so I do understand that I couldn't have gone any bigger. and I probably will gain weight in the next couple of years so they will get bigger. but like Alice said I wore such big padded bras that's probably why I'm not noticing. but am I being stupid to have expected to look down In bed and not be able to see my stomach because they where so big. that's what I think a size D is. I feel the boobs themselves don't come out very far as in I expected the size D to be so big that I could put something on top of my boobs like a shelf. if that makes sense?

First all to the forum. You've come to the right place. 18 isn't too young if you feel you are ready.
Please don't worry about your size you are still so so so so early in the healing process. Every day you boobs will change. I had my 2nd boob job 3 weeks ago and my boobs have changed so much. I hated them to start with and also thought there was no difference in size to before but I now love them. Your boobs will start to drop now into more of a natural position rather than being stuck on, they will also soften and move more naturally. Mine are definitely more fuller. The underwired bra you tried on won't fit properly at the moment as your boobs won't have settled. Also being unders rather than overs you will find results won't be as instant or dramatic as overs.
it can take up to a year to see the final results so im afraid patience is a virtue in this case.
xx

Cookie has a fantastic picture of what happens when boobs drop - which yours will regardless of your age or skin type.
Right now you have a lot of upper pole, so they will be very full at the top where as natural or older boobs have more fullness at the bottom. As gravity takes its toll on the implant they will fill more on the lower pole pushing the breast forward giving the appearance of them being bigger.
Just give it time and remember that a D/DD is still actually quite big... that's all without the padding you needed before  x

Re: great £4000 and I don't look any different.
thank you so much. I've been in tears because I've thought they're too small! my boyfriends been so supportive telling me they're perfect and any bigger I would look silly. but obviously when you can't see it yourself you don't listen to anyone else. i will have to request cookie to see her picture. Ive heard so much about drop and fluff and some actual proof would be perfect. After spending so much money I haven't jumped up in joy and been so happy that I have big boobies because I don't feel like it. this should be something that makes me so happy not sad. feeling very sorry for myself but you all have made me feel a lot better. thank you to everyone.

Re: great £4000 and I don't look any different.
I went through very similar things hun so I know exactly how you are feeling, I even worked out how much I'd need to save each month to have a re-op ASAP but fast forward a couple of months down the line when they started changing and I'm happy with them.
Try and dig out some old pre-op pictures of you either in a bikini or whatever to have a compare... you maybe be surprised at how different you actually look!
P.S it sounds like you have a lovely boyfriend, so theres another thing to smile about! xx

Re: great £4000 and I don't look any different.
Awwww Blondie C'mere Everything you're experiencing is VERY common sweetheart, so please don't think you're the only one who has felt this way, you definately aren't lovely and I know it may sound cliche but time really is going to make all the difference to how you look 3 months from now and your age or your skin condition will make no difference to what gravity has intended for your new boobs babe, you WILL drop and have a nice natural look to your new 'fuller' and 'bigger' boobs.
Here's the diagram to show you how dropping and fluffing works sweetie:
You can see that at first you have a whole lot of upper pole fullness, then as your new boobs settle, they start to drop into the pocket that your surgeon will have created for them, as they do this they start to then fill out the loew pole. I have to say that as this process occurs many women sometimes have the feeling that their boobs are getting smaller, when infact they're not, they're just missing the upper pole that was once there, your boobs as the lower pole fills out protrude forward and this is called 'fluffing' when you do infact increase in bust size.
It may also help you to read this thread [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] sweetheart, hopefully this make you feel a little better xx

Re: great £4000 and I don't look any different.
You are not being stupid at all, those feelings are all normal, I had exactly the same and I think that's why I was so upset. You have this expectation in your head of them being HUGE when you wake up and when that expectation is not fulfilled its disappointing. My hubby and friends kept telling me they looked fine but to me they were tiny but then I got the tape of and instantly knew they were the right size for me. Like you when I had smaller boobies I thought a D cup was massive, I'm in a D now and no I don't feel massive but like Alice has said and a great way to look at it as my hubby told me the same- yes they may not look any different under your clothing with a padded bra but your not wearing a padded bra your wearing a sports bra and you already look like that so that's a good feeling and once we can get in normal bras they will look amazing. As you said your surgeon said it was tight stitching you, so you wouldn't have possibily gone any bigger anyway babe you have got the maximum cc you could have for your frame and they will be amazing. The whole BA journey is such a emotional roller coaster and I don't think any of us expected to have the feelings we have had, it sounds so easy doesn't it to go and get bigger boobs but it's not as easy as that and like so many girls and my nurse said its a emotional journey that we didn't expect so you probably have all those feelings as well. I can assure you that you will feel better about them until yesterday I really thought I was going to hate them forever and need another BA, yesterday I turned that corner andim sure you will too xxx

Aw hun, sounds a bit like you have boobie blues. However as the girls have said it will just take a bit of time and you will notice a difference in them over the coming weeks and months.

Hey hun everything the girls have said is true. When I had my pips replace 4 months ago I chose not to go any bigger so had same size put back in and when I came round I was disappointed as they looked smaller than before BUT I am now an E cup when I was a DD so just be patient and you will see the difference time can make, plus my boobs dont look anything like my avi when I am wearing a sports bra!! Chin up xx

Re: great £4000 and I don't look any different.
Hi blondie! I just want to say I know EXACTLY how you feel. When I saw them post op in my clothes, I was like "omg I don't look any different than I did in my padded bras"! Sometimes I just don't feel like I've had anything done, I feel the same as I did pre op. And at 5 weeks I still sort of feel like that, but I am still in my sports bra and Ive still got time and I'm sure they will change more. I went bra shopping the other day and they look much better in the bras which made me feel better!:)) Currently wearing a 34C in bras which is what I wanted so they can't be that small! (was aaaaaaaaa before)
The ladies have given great advice and I'm sure they will change more for both of us and we will love them! Happy healing!
