Am I being ungrateful???
Am four weeks post op and have been waiting for this boob op for over 10 years and had pictured in my head how things would be when I eventually had the op done - things don't feel like I thought they would. Had asked for around a c cup - having started at a 32aa. I had 270cc unders put in and so far am thinking I should have gone bigger? People keep saying I have to give it time but am so impatient and can't see how things are going to change that much? Boobs seem to be settling unequally and this worries me too? Any advice anyone??? Thanks so much in anticipation.

You really do have to give it time. Size is an enigma. I had same size pips replacements put in yet went from a DD to an E cup !! I am sure when they drop and fluff you will wonder why you worried so much. xx

Re: Am I being ungrateful???
It's all very normal to worry about the size and if you are still in sports bras then these really do nothing for you and make boobs appear flatter than normal, especially under clothes. Unders do tend to take a lot longer to heal so you may not see a good improvement until 3 months post op, and they should look a lot different by 6 months. Unfortunatly patiences is the key.

This is very normal hun, while your boobs were both done at the same time it is important to remember they're both different operations and can heal at different rates. It's quite common for girls to worry about the symmetry of their breasts during the healing stage but the majority of the time they sort themselves out.
As for the size it's still early days. Until your boobs have settled and you're out of sports bra's I would really suggest not worrying what size they look like.... Most girls get a bit of a surprise when it comes to putting on wired bra's xx

Re: Am I being ungrateful???
You're not the only one who wants results right away hashcrelmet, I think for the majority of us we at some point in our recovery just want the healing bit to end and for our boobs to just sort themselves out, but sadly that's not going to happen
There's a loooong wait ahead until you do finally get to see the result you'll end up with and at 4 weeks post-op you still have a way to go lovely.
I too had wonky boobs through my recovery and literally had myself convinced that that was what I was going to end up with, but at '10 weeks post-op' my boobs suddenly one day decided they'd had enough of their wonkiness and it was time to head in the right direction, it was at this time they 'fluffed' too (increased in size).
Now, I'm not saying you could take as long as 10 weeks for your boobs to sort themselves out hun, they may take a little longer. We all heal at different rates and our boobs will heal in their own good time, but what I am saying is that your healing at this stage in your recovery is normal and although it may sound cliche hashcrelmet, it's true - You are early days and your friends are absolutely right. You do need to give your boobs the time they need to heal. xxx

Re: Am I being ungrateful???
Hi I am only one week post op, I had 260 overs and was a 32b before hand. Before i had my surgery i kept seeing posts from girls your size aa who had 220plus and they wrre in D cups so thought i would be fine. The day I had my surgery they put me in a 32c sports bra and I cried my eyes out thinking I should have gone against my surgeons advice and gone with the 300 that he offered but said would look fake and stuck on me. I was also taped so couldn't see my boobs properly. I was a emotional wreck for the whole week even looking at other agency's and wondering how I could afford to get them done again. I put posts on here expressing my concerns and the girls were amazing and supportive but it was hard to see so many ladies instantly loving their new boobs and me instantly hating mine. I had my post op appointment yesterday and had the tape taken off and I love them, they are the perfect size for my frame and I know the surgeon did what was best by me, also in all honesty im not sure my body would have been able to fit any bigger and my nurse said the same yesterday.I am certain hun you will feel the same as soon as they have settled properly I have heard that unders take longer then overs to settle. If you trusted your surgeons advice Hun you did the right thing he/ she has done what was best for you and there's a possibility anything bigger may not have fitted. I also did a thread on here for 300 and under girlies as when I was feeling horrid about my new boobies I felt a little alone as everyone seemed to be having much bigger cc then me, so feel free to post on there as well hun so you don't feel alone. Xxxx
