Is a burning sensation normal??
Hi all,I'm 7day PO, I was great starting to feel better and the discomfort was getting better but last couple of day my breasts have felt hot to touch and I've a burning sensation in both?!?!? Bit worried :-/

The burning sensation could be due to your nerves healing lovely. It's common for us to experience a sensation likened to that of sunburn early post-op.
Your boobs feeling hot to the touch could also be normal too Vicki but with you being so early post-op it would be best to have your clinic nurse/surgeon just have a little look for you sweetheart to check all is well. Xxx

Thanks cookie, I've managed to get a appoinmnt for 12 today so hopefully everything will be ok x

glad everything is ok hun, there's nothing like reassurance from your surgeon/nurse.

I still have that burning feeling after three weeks! It's only started to fade a little in the last two days and the material of my sports bra makes it so much worse. I actually took a pair of scissors to an old silk camisole (my boobs are too big for it now ) and i put the silk in between my boobs and sports bra. At this stage it's more irritating than painful though x
