Re: 3 times canceled and changed my appointment??
It may be that he has had good reason to have cancelled babe, surgeons are no different to anybody else and sometimes life throws unexpected things at us that we have no control over. If it does happen again I'd ask the clinic for an explanation and if you aren't satisfied with the explanation given, then maybe it is time to look for another surgeon. Unless of course you really want this surgeon and in that case, you'll just have to wait till he's ready to see you sweetness.
Hope all goes well this time on the 25th xx

So sorry to hear you've been cancelled so much. I had Mr Payne and just wanted to say I've only once had an appointment changed and I've seen him multiple times since my original op, so he isn't generally unreliable. I hope all goes well and you do get to see him on the 25th.

That must be really frustrating to have your appointment cancelled 3xs. Just when you start to get excited, they disappoint you by canceling! I hope your next schedule pulls through okay! Good luck! Xx

Re: 3 times canceled and changed my appointment??
I think that trusting your surgeon is the most important aspect throughout this process. Having to choose sizes etc is really confusing but if you trust your surgeon you can trust he has choose what's best for you regardless of what option you go for. I never had any worries about scars or anything as I trusted him completely. By the time I had my BA I was not nervous one bit, not even when I walked to theatre or they started hooking me up to heart monitors or anything because I trusted he would do his job. I haven't seen my scars yet as I only have the dressings off tomorrow but I haven't once worried about them, I'm only excited to see them, it hasnt crossed my mind they will be bad. So, even I'd they are bad when I see them, at least the trust I had in him eased any kind of stress PO ...
I know that was a babble, but I hope you see the point I'm trying to make.

Re: 3 times canceled and changed my appointment??
Sorry to hear what you've been through vanityitself.
The problems you're having are probably with the admin department. They could have double booked appointments or booked things when they're not supposed to or for when they have been told your surgeon would be unavailable - so I wouldn't let this situation affect your opinion of Mr. Payne as its probably not his fault.
When I was trying to book my surgery with Aurora Clinics I went through the main switchboard and they were absolutely no help. They said they'd ring me or email me back with details and never did, and I began to feel like a pain for asking...almost to the point of going with a different company.
But once I got my PCC's details I never had a problem getting through or getting my questions answered.
Fingers crossed your appointment stays at the 25th!
