What do you wear to bed?
This is for ladies who've had their ops for a while, not post op recovery sports/surgical bra period
I'm ready to give up the night time armor, lol. I was sleeping with my Macom and had my sports bra during the day. For the last month I've switched to regular bras. I'd like something super comfy and not over the top support for sleeping. Basically I want some support just not like I'm about to run a marathon, these babies need to breath, lol.
Have any of you tried the Belvia bras? I wouldn't dream of wearing these to go out during the day, not enough support, and they don't look flattering. But they look comfy for sleeping and lazing around in front the the tv or or reading a book?

Re: What do you wear to bed?
I just wear a PJ vest top with built in support, they have some nice ones in primark. But most of the time I wear nothing at all. But I didn't give up a bra until 7 months post op. After 6 weeks post op I wore this [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Re: What do you wear to bed?
Thanks, that's a lovely bra. I don't have a Bravissimo around here and don't plan on leaving town for a while due to our recent holidays, I need to stay put for a while How is the fit? I'm a 32dd in Debenhams bras, 29.5 ribcage.
I never slept with a bra before my op, I like to let them free, don't like them being in a bra 24/7. However, I know I'm not ready to sleep braless, I'm way too early in my recovery process so I need something in the meantime, but I'm ready to ditch my Macom. Ideally I'd like something that just moulds to me and that's stretchy, as close to wearing nothing but still something if that makes sense xxx

I was fitted into the bra in bravissimo so it was perfect for me. I wear a 32FF in that type of bra and it's like i'm not wearing anything.
Re: What do you wear to bed?
I wore my Shock Absorber every night for the 4 years I had my PIP's. I liked the support, the only nights I didn't wear it was when I had a spray tan or something lol x

Re: What do you wear to bed?
xplayboybunnyx I think I'll give the Shock Absorber a miss, I couldn't even wear it at night post op, and now only wear them to exercise, I take them off straightaway after
Sparklyleeds I think that sounds like the type of bra I might get on with for sleeping, though the closest Matalan is in Colchester, I must be living in the dark ages, no Matalan, no Bravissimo We do have other shops though, I'm sure I can find something xxx

Re: What do you wear to bed?
I still sleep in my sports bras, but I've been eyeing up the Belvia/ Aah Bra type ones lately, but don't know what size to get in those kind of things. x

Re: What do you wear to bed?
I've got the aah bra set and though they are comfortable they only come in sizes s m l I have got small and they only just fit my 32d cup. Also they are made of nylon so I wouldn't recommend x

Re: What do you wear to bed?
Mrsm you'd be a small in the Belvia since you're a 32 band.
NBD, thanks but I don't want a sports bra and am done with my post surgical bra too. I will be four months post op next week, I need something as close to not wearing anything, but with still a bit of support to sleep. This wouldn't be a bra to wear out ever xxx

Re: What do you wear to bed?
While it is still technically called a sports bra I would say its more of a crop top and it's called "All sports bra" from Sweaty Betty.
They aren't supportive enough for the gym by any means (classed as medium impact upto C cup) and come in sizes of XS - L (I fit comfortably in XS as they're stretchy).
They're soooooooo comfortable though. As soon as I get in I put one on for the evening and sleep in it despite being given the all clear to go without. X

Thank you Alice, I think that's the kind of bra I'm looking for. There are so many beautiful colours to choose from! xxx

Re: What do you wear to bed?
I can't recommend them enough! You can get a members card and get 10% off everything in Sweaty Betty too.. It's just a discount card not a store card. X
