advised to start massage
Had my 1 week check up today and nurse advised me to commence massaging my boobs in a weeks time. Is this to prevent capsular contraction/help them drop? The nurse just told me it helps to "soften" them and make them feel more like my own. Have others been advised to do this? I've been told to start from day 14 and to massage morning and night for 5-10 minutes using E45 cream

Re: advised to start massage
Some people are told to do so others are not. You should follow the advice given to you for your healing.
Re: advised to start massage
I was told not to massage as the textured implants have to adhere to the tissue and massage prevents this from happening. But as Misf1 says we should do what our surgeons tell us. Strange though that they all have different opinions. xx
