Re: My boyfriends left me - BA on my own?
You'll be fine Bouncy
You'll need to have someone to stay with you for the first 24hrs after coming home from hospital, but after that as long as you prepare everything pre-op, you should be OK with having a friend on call should you need help. Get things done like frozen meals, bringing everything down that you may need to a level you can reach without stretching, shopping, any post that needs sending. You won't be able to drive for at the very least a week, so make sure any chores that you need to drive out for are done pre-op and everything should be OK. Your son is old enough to take care of himself now, so no worrying about lifting him, he's at an age that he can dress himself and entertain himself, so if you have cooked and frozen meals pre-op, it will be easy on you just to pop the meals in the microwave, then you can rest on the sofa, whilst your son plays. Maybe get some extra stuff in to keep him entertained as well as you for the first week, this will take a little more pressure off you.
I'm so sorry you're going through this hun. Sending big hugs xx
