Sex-how long to wait?
Bit embarrassing to ask this but how long do you have to wait to have sex? I'm feeling great but know there'll be still lots of healing going on both inside and out. Don't wanna rush things and do any damage. Any advice?

I think it will just be a case of making sure your other half doesn't get too excited with your new additions until at least after your 6 week post op check up, at a guess you won't appreciate them be being played with too much anyway?! ouch!

You don't have to wait at all, just whenever you feel up to it, and it's a good idea to keep the sports bra on (altho I didn't) xx

I think it's advised to wait 6 weeks, something to do with blood pressure/ heart rate/ blood pumping around your body. It's not good after the op as could cause probs. however I lasted about 5 days post op They friging hurt like **naughty word** the next morning though, so secure them as best as you can..... Have fun xxx

Whenever your body feels up to it, obviously you just have to be careful and hold on to them with dear life lol

Re: Sex-how long to wait?
Thanks for all the advice ladies. Saw my nurse today to check over stitches etc. She said I'm doing really well and healing nicely. I asked about sexual activity, she said its like any other activity-not to rush it, wait til body feels ready and when you do to take your time and not go to strenuously at it. So, I suppose if I do give it a go in the next few days it'll have to be sports bra firmly on, cupping em with both hands and gently does it :)
