Face moisturizer Empty Face moisturizer

Does anyone know if I can use face moisturizer/ sunscreen the morning of surgery? The paper work I got says no body lotion or perfumes but doesn't mention face. My ps office is closed today so I can't ask.

I would say no hun, keep all your skin clear of everything. I'm not sure why maybe it's a bacterial thing

They ask you to not put anything on including deodorant so I would say no too xx

U could always take baby wipes with U and remove everything before U go to surgery. That's what I was told in pre op appt x

It's only for a few hours, it's better to be safe than sorry. As soon as you wake up after you op you can put it on.

Idk I think I might be ok since your face is not part of the surgery. My last abdominal surgery Im pretty sure I used it, as I was not informed.

My surgeon said no makeup at all before the op, and if I came to the hospital wearing it I'd be given wipes to take it off. Not sure if moisturiser comes under the heading of "makeup" though? x

I wore face moisturizer and a little bit of face powder before my operation on my abdomen...ooops

I just called the office. The nurse said face moisturizer was fine since it's not in the surgical area.
