7 weeks - 1 bigger than the other
Hi there,
I have been trying to resist posting another 'concern', espcially as I know it is still early days BUT ............................
.............. my boobs are different size!!
I am now 7 weeks PO, my right seemed to settle ok but my left took longer to drop and feels as if the implant is rolling around in there!! (I have already mentioned this in a previous post!). My right boob seems fuller and is definitely much bigger. (well half a cupsize - maybe more)
Do you think this may be because my left one still needs to settle - and will then get bigger and catch the other one up?
Is it still quite normal for one boob to still feel 'odd' at 7 weeks? At one point the 'rolling around' seemed to have stopped - but then it started all over again.
Sorry for being a worryhead - and I'm sure you must get fed up with me - but your advice would AGAIN be appreciated
Thank you lovely ladies x x

I wudnt panic hunni it does take up to or even past a year to fully settle and heal. Mine were uneven for a long time after and I can still c and feel a little bit of a difference between my boobs but they r never guna b 100% symmetrical :) not worth a reop or anything like that as its only me that can notice it.
Try not to worry urself babe it's just ur boobs healing at different rates xxxx

Hi Natty,
Thanks for your reply. I know I need to be patient but it's just soooo hard (and I've had a few issues with nipples - should have been offered an uplift) when you just don't know if they will eventually end up ok!
Yours look fantastic - wow! I'm going to M&S today to get measured and just look at all the underwear that I will beable to wear at last!!
I just hope the other one ends up the same size as it's becoming more obvious in clothing.
thanks again x x

Mine were odd sizes and one higher than the other at 5 months post opp so don't worry there is plenty of time to change. For the rolling around sensation make sure you don't wear push up bras or push together bras and try and stick to sports bras to help the implant stay in place and adhere to its pocket.

Hi Misf1,
I've been wearing my less suportive cheap tesco sports bra the last few weeks - and thinking about it that's when the implant started to feel like it was on the move again ........ I'm going to put my shock absorber back on right now! Thanks x x x

Get the supportive bra back on woman!! hahaha. xxxx
I really don't rate the superstore bras, you're much better off in a good high impact bra babe.
When you next see your surgeon do be sure if you're still experiencing the same problems to have everything noted down that you're unhappy with Meemoo. Yes. it's till very early in your recovery, but still anything your not happy with should be put in writing in your surgeons notes.
My boobs were awful Meemoo, I had one larger than the other and they had terrible symmetry, but mine went on the move at 10 weeks post-op and by 12 weeks I was happy with them, I also wore my sports bra for 12 weeks and am happy with how they look now.
So do still give them time and support hun, but you know if you have a wait to see your surgeon and you are very worried, you can always pick up the phone and call to see your surgeon anytime hun, if only to get some reassurance xx
