Hi everyone had my ba on thurs and totally in love with them already, even tho they look a bit funny at the min! Lol so I was a very empty slightly tuberous b before and have had 560 cc anatomical overs, they really don't look that big at the min! no complaining but just wondering how much bigger they actually get as they settle and drop? I'm wearing a dd post surgery bra at the min xx

You'll gain more 'fullness' as your boobs settle and they will protrude slightly forward as the implant settles in the breast pocket as you can see from the diagram below babe

Not everyone does 'fluff' (increase in size) but in the 3 years I've been here I know of only 3 women that haven't. I increased by 2 cup sizes when my boobs settle so the day of your fitting after getting the all clear from your surgeon can be a very exciting one.

I will say though that I'd put size right out of your head head hun. If you're in love with your boobs that's all that's ever going to matter after having a BA. The size is a mere label and nothing more. As long as they look good and youre happy...That's gotta be the best for you hasn't it. Xx

That's a brill pic thanks :) oh yes defiantly, I'm not bothered by what actual size bra I will be in, just hoping they get a little bigger as they settle especially at the bottom of them xx

The bottom definitely fills out hun. As you can see from the diagram, you start to lose some of the upper pole as they drop. Many women at this time have a panic and think their boobs are getting smaller but they couldn't be more wrong. What's happening is that the bottom of the breast fills out as your boobs take on a more natural shape :thumbs: xx

this is only day 2 for me so very early days but i too was thinking i love the size they are now so when the swelling goes will they get smaller? its nice to see the diagram of how the breasts drop and fluff so fingures crossed x

Congrats Kirstyem! Looks like youre having the same as me...anatomical overs for slightly tuberous 36Bs ;] how are you feeling? You had much pain? X

Yay can't wait for them to fluff then! :) yeh I'm feeling really good, can honestly say I have had no pain at all, uncomfortable, heavy and a few funny twinges but nowhere near as bad as I expected! Xx

hi mine were VERY swollen to the point i looked like i had a monoboob

but when they swelling inbetween them and the sternum went down they have got bigger well not bigger taken shape more

Well mine have gone through a few phases. First they were high and tight and like you I thought they looked small. No where near as big as i thought they would be. Then they started swelling and got bigger and even though they were weird shaped I loved the size. Then the swelling went down and I'd got so used to them being big that they looked small so I was a bit gutted. Then they dropped and changed shape and looked a little fuller and I was happy again and now I think I'm starting to fluff because they're changing shape again and are looking even better. They look a lot fuller and a couple of my bras a bit more snug so I cant wait to see what happens next! xx
