What to expect after a re-op?
i assume i wont have as much pain as the first op, but i am wondering what sort of things i should expect? So far i only have pain where the incision is and when i stand i get a pulsating feeling but that is all at moment
Re: What to expect after a re-op?
Not all re-ops have a better recovery, if you've had more invasive procedures done to correct your boobs it's possible second time around could be worse in terms of discomfort, but if you've just had surgery to exchange implants then your re-op recovery is generally a lot quicker than your first surgery, due to the pocket having already been created, so you'll probably find your implants drop and settle a lot quicker too, so everything you've said sounds good hun, you're healing well and doing great. But don't forget Dawn, even though you're healing well on the outside, do still be aware of your boobs recovering on the inside and although you might feel better than your first surgery, you should still follow the recovery instructions as if it were your your first babe. xx

Good question as im curious as to whether it'll hurt as much 2nd time round! Its still a major op so im not expecting to b doing hand stands or anything but i would like to think it won't b as sore as it could be x

my scars are itching ohh i wana scratch, the macom bra is annoying me as keeps folding over onto my scars and not overly convinced on the bra
Re: What to expect after a re-op?
Try sticking a panty liner or a sanitary towel to your bra so that it lies against your incisions Dawn, that way you shouldnt get as much irritation as the liner/towel acts as a nice cushion against the skin. xx

I was expecting it to be less painful second time round but I was very wrong! It was very painful and sore :( days 1-4 were the worst then it slowly started improving. I had replacement implants, plus nipple moved over a bit and I had a longer incision made on the left boob to even it out so they were both symmetrical.x
