Feeling down, normal? Empty Feeling down, normal?

Post by estelle74 12th July 2012, 7:16 am

Hiya girlies, hope everyone is doing fine.

Sorry for bringing stuff down, but today I have gotten up feeling really down and crying. Im sure that it is just lack of sleep and feeling very frustrated that I cant do anything. Getting fed up of being indoors, not an indoorsy person.

Neck and shoulders achy from sitting up and sleeping on the sofa so only getting bout 4 hours per nite, but dont want to sleep during the day. Going back to work on Monday so hopefully will try catch up this weekend when I get back into a proper bed.

Any body else feel like this. Had BA Friday just gone.

Hubby gave me hug before I left but made me feel worse

Sorry once again, sure will feel better in hour!

Rach

Aww sorry to hear you're feeling down :(

I went through a bluesy phase as well - I hate being locked up and not being able to do anything! I felt so useless having to ask for help with the most simple things...like flushing the loo!

But it will get so much better day by day! Especially when you get back to work and out of the house again. And every night of sleep will get more comfortable than the last.

But for now, just take a peek at your new boobies and remember that it's all worthwhile!!

I think it is something we all go through Hun, with the lack of sleep, being uncomfortable, not being able to do anything and being stuck inside, it's bound to make anyone miserable, but it certainly won't last forever! X

U should treat yourself to a visit to the hairdressers for a wash and blow dry, that way it'll get U out the house for an hour too x

Hey babe, it's totally normal. The excitement of it all has worn off slightly and now you're left feeling uncomfortable, sleep deprived and fed up.

You'll be amazed how much better you suddenly start feeling, especially after about 10 days then each day is better until you realise youre back to your old self, but with a lovely set of jubbelys! Flash

We've all been there, really hope you start to feel better soon xxxx Hug

Hey hunni!

I went through exactly this feeling too, I think the girls are right... The excitement wears off then you're left in pain and stuck in the house with greasy hair n a gross sports bra.

I'm just over 2 weeks post-op now n it does get better, I'm in no pain at all and can sleep on my side yay! Just can't wait to free the boobies out the sports bra and into some sexy underwear.

My boobs already feel squishy and jiggle and are starting to drop, hope you start to feel better soon xxx

Thanks so much girls, your all so great, I knew that I could come on here this morning and you would all be there for me. I remember coming on here 8 years ago and it was exactly the same. Its difficult to speak to anybody else about it unless you are going through the same thing.

Everything your going through as the girls have said is normal sweetheart Hug

Try actually going to bed tonight lovely to help yourself get a better sleep, you've absolutely no need at all to be sat upright to sleep babe, just a pillow or two and your V-pillow is enough to have you 'propped up' to aid the swelling, a pillow under each arm and another under the knees helps too

It may help if you read this thread [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] estelle, it just highlights some of the things we go through early post-op that you don't get told at the clinic. xx

Just had a read through those points, hadnt seen them before. Vaguley remembered most of these from before, but never quite remember 100%. Thanks alot for posting this.

I have just washed my hair, wasnt as bad as I thought, and walked up the shop and feel almost human again. Took some pics of my boobs and will do so every week and see how they progress.

I totally feel like this today! fed up of being indoors, feel disgusting because i cant shower properly and all bloated from pain killers and antibiotics. Im sure its normal. Im back to work tuesday so sure ill feel better by then, as im sure you will too.

Just wondered if anyone had uneven boobs at first as i keep looking at mine and im just not happy that one nipple is higher than the other. i love the size and shape but they just look wonky!

will they change in time or do i need to ring the clinc. really worried girlys as i dont know if this has been done on purpose or not Feeling down, normal? 476424

It is totally normal for them to appear uneven or wonky at first and it could take a few weeks or months or up to a year before you get you final result.
