hi

im very new to the forum , so you may have to bear with me if i ramble

i've had 5 consultations and met 2 surgeons so far like them etc

but im looking forward to meeting my surgeon from transform because 2 friends have been with transform and have nothing but praise but also my 1 friend (friend of a friend) has actually had the surgeon im going to see mr paul clarke (which reading the reviews i see he is popular)

so i have been all excited etc

butttt , obv while im waiitng to see him i have been doing more of the boring part of the research , the after care, now from my opinion on what i have read on here their aftercare isnt amazing in comparision to others. obv if i dont need any major aftercare then fine but i am a bit of a worry wart!

so now im trying to get a consulation with mybreast , can anyone recommend any surgeons for the natural look with them?

even though i have read this about transform i still really am excited to see mr clarke !!!

:(

I went with Transform and had Mr Clarke, both of which from MY experience have been absolutely spot on... I don't regret the decision of going with Transform but I do think I ate up their clever wording regarding Transform's aftercare policy.

Aftercare is always a VERY important aspect of your BA package, but that being said it is equally important to save up your own boobie fund for any surprise complications you may have incase your clinic put up a fight regarding what you're entitled to for free. When your health is at risk the last thing you want to worry about is finding the money for a re-op so remember to save a little each month after your op... even if it's just £50pm.

Transform have looked after me after 2 unsuccessful ops xx

I can't really fault them, they really looked after me, although I know not everyone has been pleased with the aftercare they received xx

It's definitely a big deciding factor xx

Hi saranne I went with Stephen Hamilton from mybreast Im only 9 or so weeks post op but so far my boobs are great, I'm still only early on though. I asked for natural look and that's what he's given me.

The other surgeon I would have had a consultation with at mybreast if I didn't fall in love with Stephen would have been Withey, I've read great stuff on him also. Definitely worth a consultation with either of those surgeons.

Anyway welcome2 to this amazing place xxx

I did also go with Transform and I am very happy with my result, and I never HAD (now run out after 3 years) to use their aftercare, other than my post op follow ups as I had no complications. There are good and bad to all companies and as you have found out Mybreasts admin aren't the quickest. Would I go with Transform again? hm possibly.

Hello! I believe my surgeon, Mr. Adrian Richards works for MyBreast and I really really can't recommend him enough!

He also works for Aurora Clinics (who I went with) and has lots of vids on their website if you're interested in checking him out either through them or MyBreast - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

He's done a fantastic job with me, I experienced very little pain and am very happy with the result! He really listens to the look you're after and put me at ease through all stages of the process!

Good luck with whatever you decide heads is a bit of a shed 184153

Hi heads is a bit of a shed 399357

I went with Simon Withey at Mybreast, he prefers the natural look. I think he only works in London though, not sure where you prefer to have your op. I also did consider Hamilton and Richards like coltgirl and mariaelaina, but didn't bother meeting them after my consult with Withey I knew he was the one for me heads is a bit of a shed 4239681551

You'll find everybody happy with their outcome will shout out their surgeon babe, but most here are all early/mid post-op and happy bunnies at just having their boobs done Flash

I'd always personally advise you find your own surgeon, call the clinics you're interested in and request a list of the surgeons working in your area. When you have the list check the surgeons out on the GMC register, foreign surgeons may not be on the BAAPs/BAPRAS registers, so do check they are on a UK specialist list for cosmetic surgery, if they are also a specialist in reconstruction surgery too that's always a bonus!

You generally as you're going through get a feel for the surgeon you want, then sweetie, go online with the surgeon YOU have chosen in hand and research them! Find any reviews you can on them or any articles that may have been written, you can usually narrow it down to 2 or 3 by this stage, then go and see these last few surgeons YOU have chosen.

I know it sounds like a lot of hard work babe, but to get the best for YOU, I personally think it's worth it. xx
