Hi all,

I've really pushed to get Paul Clarke through transform (seeing him Monday woo!) as I've seen a lot of recommendations through various forums. Although, I read quite a lot of posts on this forum last night and some say to be careful about seeing recommendations online etc as they may be fake. Now I'm sure they're not all fake as there are soooo many positive posts about this particular surgeon but if anyone has any personal experience of this doctor, or can advise ways I can check in a more official capacity rather than just wordof mouth, all information it would be much appreciated.

I'm sure one of the mods will tell you all the places to check hunni but see if he's on here [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

My surgeon also works for the NHS, and is a reconstructive surgeon, as well as being in both of the above registers. They're all good signs of a good reputation/ level of skill x

I haven't had surgery with Mr Clarke, but.... I do have it on good authority from the clinic nurse at Transform Crosby, who see's all the scars and boobs for post-op care and she actually recommended Mr Clarke to help me after I'd a rupture but needed the left breast reconstructed. She actually told me of all the surgeons, she would recommend his work. Sadly, he doesn't do reconstruction so I couldn't have him, but there ya go... I don't think you could get a better recommendation that that babe. xx

Im havin paul clarke for my ba like twinkle, hes not actually on the bapras register but i was recommended him above all the other transform surgeons. Plus my mum had her done by him and her results are fantastic, shes never had any problems relating to his work and her scars are fab. She actually had a mammogram at the hospital she works at and the breast surgeon there who does breast cancer paitents said hers were one of the best ba's he'd ever seen, the positioning, scars etc etc were brilliant.
I know everyones different and u may feel better with a different surgeon but just wanted to tell u bout me n my mum, i feel very confident with dr clarke and cant wait to see my results. Xx

Hi Lian, I had Mr Clarke and I think he's wonderful. yes

I had done a lot of online research on him and he was the one I was most fond of when I'd looked into all of Transform's surgeons from my area.

When I met him I thought he was easy to talk to, he ensured that I understood every aspect of the op, what my fears/concerns were, my opinions regarding silicone/PIPs, what placement I preferred and why etc. He didn't rush and spoke to me as if it was the first time he'd ever gone through the info... not like a robot who has said it to 8 other women that morning.

I also found him to be realistic, he didn't fill me with hopes and dreams but was very open and honest about what results I could get and what I might not like about them. He was a bit of a bubble burster in this sense, but it let me go in with low expectations and I came out over the moon! x
