Loobs wrote:Hi Fairy,
You are really panicing sweet and youre going to work yourself up.
I too, like a high percentage of ladies had different boobs PO. My right was slightly higher and tighter from day 1 and i, like you panicked thinking it had been a botch job and they would stay like this...i too had one scar higher, i was asking questions on here too like you are...all in my BA diary...anyway, youre sooo early PO chick please give your body time to settle, mine have settled a lot after 2 months.
Try not to worry about having your 6 week po check after 8 weeks, being in a supportive bra for an extra 2 weeks wont do you any hard (although i know youre eager to get them boobs in a nice bra!)
I know its easy to say but you really have to give your body time.
x
Thank u so much, its so good to hear u wer in a similar situation to me..... :-) and r urs even now and looking good how u want them to look? xx

fairycake22 wrote:My wounds are healing well... n thats all really she said i can sleep flat and without a bra now!??? - Did u all do this 2 weeks po?
As soon as I was told I could sleep flat BOOM the extra pillows were out the window... except my V pillow, I bring it downstairs for lazy days on the sofa (so most days lol).
As for sleeping without a bra I was also advised this, she said it was better for helping heal the incisions but I preferred the support. If you're ready to ditch the suit of armour sports bras for bed but you're not quite ready to hang out with your wangers out then these are an absolutely amazing half way point... I have 4 already but I want more they're THAT comfy!!!
Sweaty Betty All Sport Bra
I would be lost without them!! x

'Hi sabrina26, thank you, i hope mine do change soon, did u have unders or overs? did they change a lot if they wer overs? drop, look more natural etc??'
I had overs and they seem like two balloons at first and very wide apart. But now the swelling is gradually going away and they look more natural. They have not dropped as such yet but they feel more natural.
We are all different and heal at different pace. So do not get upset. Wait and see!!! I compare boob jobs to nice bottle of wine- they get better with time!!! ))))

Yes, they have evened out a lot, the right even looked quite square but I just left them to do their thing. My nurse told me to apply more pressure to my right when applying moisturiser to aid with the dropping which seamed to work aswell, but I would not reccomend you do this unless your nurse has said its ok to do so, and i was 6 weeks PO when this was OK to do x

Hang in there sweetie i know it can be a really scarey but they just need time to settle+you also need time to get used to your new shape too!
Oh that is really good to know im 29 days po today and still nothing, they are still odd and my left is much higher up than the right.... i am starting to freak out a bit now :-( im glad u sed it took a month for them to settle then a further 4 months to realise they looked a lot more even.... because im freakin out now that they are not changing !!!! ahhhh xxx

Re: Help! Unhappy with overs.
Dont freak out hun, mine didn't move an millimeter until I was over 6 weeks post op.
Re: Help! Unhappy with overs.
Mine were 10 weeks old before mine budged sweetness, 12 weeks before they'd fully evened out and 6 months before they softened. xx
Re: Help! Unhappy with overs.
I have just caught up on this thread and as usual you have been given excellent advise from the girls, you are very early on in the healing stages so things won't look perfect or how we expect them to be. Just remember you have had 2 ops not one as they work one at a time so naturally they will heal and change differently.
It is natural to have all these worries going around in your head as you just want them perfect, but from experience they DO change so much. I'm 7 months post op and I remember that my righty was a different shape or it seemed it and I was positive it was as everytime I looked at them in the mirror I could tell, but a few weeks later I went back to my surgeon who got out his camera and took pictures to show me and they had changed and they were intact the same shape.
My right breast has always been slightly smaller and even with a breast op it still is but I would say its not very noticeable it was more noticeable pre op.
I think the way that they have treated you at the clinic is not proffesional at all, your care co ordination has no right to tell you what you should be doing with your steri strips I know if that happened with me the surgeon would go ballistic, she also shouldn't be advising you about having a re-op widen she has no background in surgery and she probably has not seen your post ops results and she would know that you are still very early on.

Re: Help! Unhappy with overs.
Thank you all for your reassurance... i know i am still really freaking out! Its cos they wer different from day 1... n i thort most ppl start out with even boobs as soon as they get out of theatre then they change at different rates of the healing process, I can also still see a ridge at the top (overs mistake) but hey i guess that may go with time or be less noticeable at least.
Thank you xxxx
Thank you xxxx

Re: Help! Unhappy with overs.
I think you are way too early to be worrying about anything regards how they look as mine looked like a right pair of freaky things for a while, and your only a few weeks post op and takes a while for them to settle in
