Hi Cookie, thank u so much, u r really helpful and make me feel much better. thank you

I hope it will still only be slight asymmetry po wen all the healing is done, thats why im worried as it makes me think, oh gosh maybe because it wasn't symmetrical to begin with this is how its going to stay!? -But for now i am not going to worry too much as u said its early days n iv got a lot of changes to go through!?

Do u know if the Natrelle Inspira Implants 'drop' like the other Allergan implants?

For now i am going to try and stop panicking because im just driving myself crazy with worry! sad smile
I do hope so much they end up looking good and evening out properly! Makes me feel like a freak! - you can notice one is higher and bigger even in clothes :-(

I have had a call from Transform today, I am booked in for Friday now to have my po check up with the nurse....

I will let u know what the nurse says then..... I am just really annoyed with the way i have been treated so far.

That is a great idea cookie, i will definitely get my fears and upset logged.
I dont see my surgeon until 3 months po apparently! I think its a pretty long time!

Thank u so so so much Cookie, u have been absolutely amazing. xxxx thank you

Hi hun,

I am not sure of how much help I can be here but I too have had Mr Meleagros and he too recommended overs for me. I have had 460cc from a 34a. I am only 3 weeks post op at the moment and I am also having a bit of boobie blues but mine is mainly about the size. Mine have changed quite a bit from when I first had them, they sat quite high and I too was worried about the Victoria Beckham stuck on look but I can safely say they do change once the swelling has gone down.

I think mine might have a while before they drop and fluff? I don't really know but I just wanted to say that I hope you feel better soon and please don't stress yourself out hun. If you are like me, you will overanalyze and consume yourself with things so much that you will let it ruin your day/eating habits etc and that is not good so please try and just think 'Okay I am only very early post op and there are lots of changes for my boobies to go through..and breathe ' Hug .

Your implants will DEFINATELY drop sweetheart, don't worry

Take a look at the diagram below hun, this will help you better understand how the implant will drop and settle into the breast pocket

Good!, 'cos right now gorgeous, you have absolutely nothing to be worrying about and I'm concerned for you babe! You really are going to make yourself ill if you continue worrying like this... Its going to be OK, MANY of us have experienced the same, as you read in the thread I linked you to, it's VERY common, so just enjoy the rest of your recovery. Give You

You don't know how relieved I am to read this babe.... You're going to get so much reassurance from seeing your nurse and having the opportunity to have your concerns logged will also make you feel so much better too.

I'd love to know how you get on babe and you're very welcome for the help, it's why I'm here sweetheart Hug xx

If it helps... my left boob sits exactly 1cm lower than my right. Before my consultations I'd never realised this. As soon as I was told I couldn't not see it. After the BA I felt that the difference was even more pronounced and got really paranoid. Now, thinking about it, I realise that if there is any difference I haven't seen/thought/noticed it for over a week... they look normal to me now!

Hiya fairyCake. I am sad to hear that youre so upset with your boobies nope As everyone has said they will go through many different changes and cookie has been a star trying to stop you from panicking bless Hug
My scars are sitting quite high but my breasts havent fully dropped and i also suffered from asymmetry - nothing bad but my nipples sit different and one is lower than the other. when i first got them done they looked perfect together and equal but now theyre settling in they have gone back to their usual ways.I am more than happy to share what pics i have with you?
All i have to say is this surgeon has done many surgeries and im sure what he has said to you will be whats best for you Hug
As for the removal of the strips.. I hope everythings okay with you and glad that you are getting it looked at by a professional. good luck with it xxx

Your boobs settle at different rates, my left is lower than my right, i have only had 270s so there isnt a massive difference but I can tell , one is more to the side than the other but its just something I would notice, I have got them out for my friends to look at and they just said they look great, they would have if they thought something was dodgy. and I will be 4 months tomorow :) will send you a pm for my password

Hi hun I'm just catching up on this thread and you've been given some brilliant advice. Just wanted to back it all up by saying it sounds like you have the boobie blues which I suffered too, it's awful so I understand. Also I had one boob higher than the other for a few months after my ba and they evend out well. I'm so happy with them now. It's really hard waiting for them to drop but the best thing to do is take a picture of your boobs every couple of weeks and ignore them as best you can in between, you'll be surprised when you look back in 4 months and see how much they've changed.

Hi,

I had my po check, wasnt great, really rushed and the nurse didnt really say much, she said she would log my concern about them sitting differently and said that if the surgeon said u shudnt notice it then u shudnt notice it!?...and to wait 3 months until i am due to see him. My 6 week check which we booked in for some reason isnt until the 17th Aug wich will actually be 8 weeks po!? I am a little confused why its not 6 weeks!? I might actually phone up and ask to rearrange an earlier app, cos I thought i was allowed to start wearing real bras 6 weeks po, dont want to wait an extra 2 weeks if i dont have to!?

Anyway, she took a pic cos i said how unhappy i was, she said 'yea u can see it in this pic' n hopefully wen i cum in we can look bk at the pic n see how much they would have changed... fingers crossed

My wounds are healing well... n thats all really she said i can sleep flat and without a bra now!??? - Did u all do this 2 weeks po?

But i have it in my head that if i keep sleeping upright and braless the implant may drop quicker- am i being silly??

Hi Fairy,

You are really panicing sweet and youre going to work yourself up.

I too, like a high percentage of ladies had different boobs PO. My right was slightly higher and tighter from day 1 and i, like you panicked thinking it had been a botch job and they would stay like this...i too had one scar higher, i was asking questions on here too like you are...all in my BA diary...anyway, youre sooo early PO chick please give your body time to settle, mine have settled a lot after 2 months.

Try not to worry about having your 6 week po check after 8 weeks, being in a supportive bra for an extra 2 weeks wont do you any hard (although i know youre eager to get them boobs in a nice bra!)

I know its easy to say but you really have to give your body time.

It wasn't from day one when mine were uneven, they changed almost monthly. It was about 6 weeks before mine were wonky, but then they were so high and tight and they just looked so strange that I barely liked to look at them as they were like cones on my chest. They didn't look good. As for your check up, I wouldn't worry that it's at 8 weeks post op, it may be your surgeon didn't have a space for you, but it really wont make a difference. You are worrying too much, just relax, even if there is a possibility that you need a re op, it wont be until 6 months or 1 years time, and if there is something wrong, then they can fix it if needed. I'd just relax and see what happens, it's far too early in your healing for anyone to tell how they will look. It's a scary time and I think we've all had the horrible thoughts early post op "are they going to change, am I stuckk with these weird looking things" the answer is yes they will change loads, and they will improve month by month. They will look weird and they will look wonky for a while and it may be a while before you like them, but they will look 10 times better by 6 months post op.

That's good babe, at least you've been able to say what you feel and it;s now been noted yes

and said that if the surgeon said u shudnt notice it then u shudnt notice it!?...and to wait 3 months until i am due to see him.

She's right babe. As the difference was minimal pre-BA, chances are YOU may see the difference, but it wont be noticeable. Most of us have a slight natural asymmetry and it;s really not something worth worrying about, unless of course there was a marginal difference, but then your surgeon would have picked up on that pre-op.

You can call and see if they'd bring your appointment closer babe, but it's really no biggie if they can't. It may be that your surgeon is busy from your 6-8 week marker and that might explain your longer wait. 6 weeks is only a general guide though, so don't worry and if your very anxious to wear wires after 6 weeks, you could always call and see what your nurse says, but to be honest given your concerns it may be best you actually wait and allow your surgeon to see you before getting that green light and if waiting that extra 2 weeks is what it takes to give you the reassurance to go ahead then it's worth the wait lovely isn't it.

Anyway, she took a pic cos i said how unhappy i was, she said 'yea u can see it in this pic' n hopefully wen i cum in we can look bk at the pic n see how much they would have changed... fingers crossed

Taking pics at different stages throughout your recovery is a fantastic way of seeing just how well your boobs heal over time. Sometimes we just cant see it as we look in the mirror, but when you actually stop and compare, you'll be amazed at the differences and I'm positive your boobs will have changed again by the time you see your surgeon. They may not have finished their recovery at that time, but they will have changed again heading in the right direction from the pics the nurse took for you yes

My wounds are healing well... n thats all really she said i can sleep flat and without a bra now!??? - Did u all do this 2 weeks po?

But i have it in my head that if i keep sleeping upright and braless the implant may drop quicker- am i being silly??

xxx

Just relax hun and listen to the advise given to YOU. It doesn't matter what recovery instructions any of us were given, what does matter is your recovery instructions, so if you've been told to sleep without being propped up and braless at night, then chuck the good V-Pillow and your bra and get yourself a good nights sleep lovely. LOL

Look forward to hearing on you continue to get on babe. xx

Sorry to hear your upset, but like the girls have said, it's very early days.. And you have lots of changes to go through! When I first had mine done, I thought oh god what have I done as they looked stuck on and huge, compared to my a cup! They do fall into place, and sometimes one can take longer than the other as its 2 separate operations.. Give it time and u will love them xxx

I had asymmetry before op, the surgeon did note it, he said there was about a cm difference in it!? U can see it, so this is mainly why I am worried as I now have the feeling that it wont change as thats wot i was like pre op! I dont get to see my Surgeon until 3 MONTHS PO, ny next app (8 week app) is wit the nurse.... tbh i really just want to see my surgeon at 6/8 weeks po.

Gosh I hope so much that they even out. time will tell i guess xxx
