5 sleeps with the new boobies...
Hello,
I had my op on Tues and just wanted to let you all know how I'm getting on...
I feel absolutely fine! I'm really glad I did it, Tues was one of the best days of my life, woke up SO happy!!! Not sure if it was the morphine though haha.
The first couple of days I felt really, really tired n had a sore throat but other than that I was fine, I moved house just before my BA though so the tiredness probably just hit me all at once.
I've been in no pain at all and I've just been taking it really easy. I've been fine to wash my hair leaning over the bath n been fine having mini washes in the bath but avoided getting the boobs wet.
Its been a bit boring not being able to do much but I've been out for like half an hour walks everyday and went shopping in town yesterday with my boyfriend who looked after me n made sure no one bumped into me n we stopped for food n stuff so was quite chilled.
I'm insanely itchy underneath the big plasters which is a bit annoying but I guess that's just healing, I've got my first check with the nurse and my PS on Friday so will hopefully get my plasters off then.
Sleeping has been fine and I've not experienced morning boob. The feeling is coming back in them now and I had that weird feeling yesterday when I leaned forward that the implant was rolling, it felt like it was going to fall through my nipple haha.
They change shape and size slightly everyday, it's do exciting looking at them, can't believe they are mine.
Looking forward to being able to try sexy bras on. The only problem I've had is finding things to wear that disguise the gross sports bras.

Awww great to hear how you're getting on Paris. Your recovery sounds amazing Lucky you!
The itching is normal hun and yes, it's just the wound healing and nothing at all to worry about.
The feeling of the implant rolling is due to the implant still needing to adhere to the pocket lovely, so ensure you're wearing a 'high impact' sports bra rather than the super market types which I personally dont feel give enough support babe, but it's up to you...
Being bored comes as standard after having a BA haha. So the long walks you're having will break it up for you and do you the world of good. I walked loads through me recovery, it kept the weight off too from sitting on my bum all day! haha
Enjoy the rest of your recovery Paris and please do keep us updated, we LOVE hearing how all our breast buddies are getting on. xx

Re: 5 sleeps with the new boobies...
sounds like you're doing brilliantly!! Fab news.
In terms of clothes, Debenhams has a sale on and I found a few nice sleeveless button up shirts in the Henry Holland bit that were fashionable and a complete bargain at around £18. (more to the point, because they're nice prints, you can wear them buttoned up to the neck and it just looks like you're being trendy), the holes for the arms are small so you don't see the bra... big recommend!
Good luck with the rest of your healing xxx

Re: 5 sleeps with the new boobies...
Thanks ladies, I'll definitely keep you updated with how I get on.
I actually feel completely normal today, gave up on finding clothes so treated myself to some new boots from Urban Outfitters.
I'm hoping the walking will keep some weight off, I already feel like I'm eating loads and getting fat. It's driving me crazy not being able to go to the gym, I normally go about 4 times a week and run for about 5-10k. Do you think I could do a 5k walk on the treadmill or will I get too sweaty?
The rolling thing happened when I leaned over to the side to give my boyfriend a kiss, hadn't felt it before or since, it wasn't the nicest! I've got M&S sports bras n they feel really supportive, the only other time I've felt them move was walking off a curb they bounced n felt a bit heavy.
The feeling in them is starting to return too, my right boob has stung a bit n feels a bit sore underneath but nothing too painful.
They are starting to look quite close together though!!
Twinkle I originally has my first check booked for the 3rd which would have been a week after my op but the nurse rang me and asked me to change it because Mr Clarke doesn't like to see you until at least 10-12 days so I'm guessing he'll see me on Fri?

Is the bra a 'high impact' bra hun? You really shouldn't be feeling any movement on your chest, the bras should be keeping your boobs, not tightly inside, but very snugly babe to ensure no movement. Glad you havent experienced the movement since though. xx
Re: 5 sleeps with the new boobies...
Yea it says it's high impact, it was £25 for 2 in M&S but I've just read a few mixed reviews on their website with regards to the support so I think I'll treat the boobies to an extra high support one.
They do generally feel supported but that feeling was so horrible! Don't want them to get saggy.

Re: 5 sleeps with the new boobies...
I HATE my boobs
Don't know if I'm just having a bad day but they look like a size smaller from last week. Even my boyfriend said they look smaller.
I hate them and really wish I went bigger!!!
I hope they look bigger again soo bad!
If I wanted a bigger implant would I have to pay the full amount all over again?

Re: 5 sleeps with the new boobies...
Hey Paris dont be so upset. The swelling will have gone down a bit but how they look now is not how they will look, you know that from reading the threads on here. My 2nd b a my boobs looked smaller for a few weeks and I could nt understand it coz I had same size implant BUT they are now just a couple of months down the line I have gone from a DD to an E !! So dry those tears and dont worry. Cookie will no doubt be able to ease your fears if she reads this. Chin up hun xxx

Re: 5 sleeps with the new boobies...
I'm really unhappy with them, they look tiny and I feel like I've wasted loads of money!
I know there's lots of changes to come but I just don't see myself getting what I wanted from them. I'm seeing the nurse on Friday so I'll have to ask then but they really have shrunk.

I do understand Paris but I thought mine had shrunk but something happened and I ended up with what you see on my avi. I dont know if you have seen any pictrails but there are some very good examples on there of girls feeling the same as you and then being as happy as me. Its hard I know but try to be patient my darling. It will all be ok. xxx

Re: 5 sleeps with the new boobies...
LOL. You're just suffering a little boob greed hun, which is very common early post-op. We see this so much here and then once the girls are in wired bras after their recovery, the majority are really pleased.
Also, I think when you're looking down at your own sportsbra squashed boobs and then looking at the boobs enhanced by wired bras in members avatars it's so easy for your brain to take on a strange size perspective that is totally unrealistic, because I can't tell you how many women I've read saying the exact same words as you now and they pop a pic in their avatar and I'm sat looking thinking.... are we looking at the same boobs because damn! Those are some big boobies!!!!
So just give your boobs time to heal babe and also sweetie, give your brain time to adjust.... It's not going to happen in a week, or maybe not even in a month, but 6 months from now, I think you'll be thinking very differently by then lovely xx
