Re: BA finally done....happybunny for sure :-)
awww hunny i think thats expected, ive woken up some mornings and thought what the hell lol, my skin looks very tight still at the moment so that makes them look a little weird! But yes defo agree from the side the look odd, especially as one is dropping more i can see the other one is more lumpy still if that makes sense? But overall im very happy with my size, im hoping they arent too swollen still and shrink thou!
haha that made me chuckle, i done the exact same with my old bras and tried one on, it didnt even cover my nipples hehe!!
That it isnt hun, emm im not too sure in all fairness i tried a 34D bra on which i had some my pregnant days, and that was too small for me, but like i said im not too sure if im swollen still.....i dont feel it?!? How about you? Whats size implant did you go for again hun?

Re: BA finally done....happybunny for sure :-)
Well my surgeon was going for 460cc which i think were high profile but on the day he came to see me before theatre and marked me up and mentioned 470cc, thought he'd made a mistake.
No, i came round and saw him again and he'd gone for 470cc which i think are extra high profile, so maybe he had to go up slightly to get the correct shape. Dont think the extra 10cc will have made any difference tho really.
I have bought a couple of sports bras as i thought id be out of the binder by now and the 34E fits ok, a little tight round the band but im still a bit swollen. So very happy.
I still find it confusing that we had different sized implants but could be heading for similar results, dont think we'll ever work that one out

Oh that really isnt a huge difference at all!
Wow 34e sounds lovely jubbly you must be chuffed hun. What is this actual binder like....im unsure?
The size difference in weird, i think firstly it depends on the make of the implant as all seem to be slightly different and obviously the amount of breast tissue we had to start with. The difference between 400ccs and the 450ccs in my implants, projection wise is only 0.1 of a centimetre so the difference really is nothing.....very confusing i would agree lol xxxx

Well, the binder is about 3inch wide and like a long stretchy bandage with velcro at the end. So you wrap it around, right up under your arms and it fastens at the front over the top part of your boobs. Because its not that wide, it doesnt even cover your nipples so ya kind of exposed and it just kind of digs in your armpits and its quite tight. It covers the part where the implant is very high on your chest and its suppose to help the implant to drop (i had unders). The problem is that my clothes dont really hide the damn thing as its so high.
Sorry, i have a lot of hate for my binder

I got a post surgical bra from the hospital which i still sleep in as it feels that little bit more supportive and pushes my boobs that bit further together! xxx

Re: BA finally done....happybunny for sure :-)
I have to keep it on till i see him again in a couple of weeks, he didnt seem concerned so ill have to ride it out.
It does make you wonder tho when u read other ladies stories as everyone has done things differently and been given different advice.
They were quite high yea but my left one has settled down a little and looking a lil more normal.
I think the post surgical bras and the sports bras are the norm for ladies with overs so at least youre in good company with lots of ladies in the same boat xx

yaaaay, love the thought of that :-)
Do you know how long we have to wait until we can wear bras? again everyone seems to say different times?!? have you been told a specific date? My PS didnt state how long....maybe ill ask tonight! But i suppose common sense previals and it all depends on each individuals healing time! xxx

Re: BA finally done....happybunny for sure :-)
I think its about 6 weeks or 2 months before getting measured, but i could be wrong. Yea you are right, it will be different for each of us and also depends on our surgeon.
I havent asked mine yet but im sure he will go over it all when i see him next.
Think ill make a list of questions to ask because i forget when i actually get there and then end up getting home and asking the questions on here, which im glad i can do xx
