BA finally done....happybunny for sure :-)
Hi Ladies,
Sorry i havent been on sooner to post my story but i left my laptop in the office...god damn!!!
Well had my BA one week ago today yaaaaay!!! Everything went great really really happy with the results i have some gorgeous boosooms to say the least. They still dont feel quite like mines yet, if that makes sense lol!!! They really have started to settle nicely and its only been a week.
Havent had any problems at all, went in monday and i was home tuesday doing my usual mummy duties, hoovered the whole house and even washed my hair! Cant beleive how smooth the whole ride has been, i really havent been in any pain at all, slight discomfort when over reaching but apart from that its been plain sailing....seems too good to be true to be honest! Had a couple of post ops with my PS and he is very happy with everything!
The only thing i would say ive suffered from is constipation (disgusting i know) i think thats from the morphine they gave me! But since being home i havent had any pain relief at all! But OMG the gut pain was unreal, was not good!!
But im sooooo happy its untrue would recommend it to anyone who is contemplating it

Re: BA finally done....happybunny for sure :-)
Really please all went well sweetheart and congratulations!
Just a word of advice hun... you may feel good on the outside, but please remember you're still very much healing on the inside, so no pressure at all should be put on your upper body hun, no lifting and no pushing, so please dont do any hoovering or anything else that might put strain on your upper body babes. You've just spent out a heck of a lot of money on your boobs and you sound sooooo happy with them, so please look after them sweetheart and give the 6 weeks they need to heal. I know that sounds a long time, but you're given that advice for a very important reason lovely. xx

Thank you every one!!
Boobies are healing just nicely....only thing i am getting is a small case of morning boob but that's about it! Its amazing how everyone heals and deals with it so differently! As i said in previous posts my sister had hers done a week before me, and from around day 4 of post-op she was back to sleeping on her side! Thats my biggest bug bear at the moment i miss sleeping on my side so much but im so protective of these bad boys, theres no way they are getting squished or hurt, i feel like a queen getting into her throne come bed time .
Lilmonkeys how did you get on hun? I was thinking of you saturday!! I hope your happy with everything!

Re: BA finally done....happybunny for sure :-)
Well happybunny9, i dont think ive had it as easy as you :o)
Im feeling good now but its only been the last 3 days that ive felt myself. The surgery went fine and i was surprisingly calm, even without my hubby there. The first few days were awful, i couldnt move myself around, move my arms or do much for my self. Then i reaslized it was my painkillers!! They were making me dizzy, lightheaded and very drowsy, so i stopped taking them and just started paracetamol and i was fine, still a bit stiff but much better.
I saw my surgeon Monday just gone and was given the go ahead to shower but still have to wear my damn binder (no bra) till i see him again in a couple of weeks. Righty is still sitting higher than the left but its getting there very slowly.
Its a good thing we have this site to help us through isnt it?
Keep us updated with your recovery wont you?
Take care xxx

Re: BA finally done....happybunny for sure :-)
Your recovery sounds just about right hun, the strong painkillers they had me on whilst my stay in hospital made me feel the exact same....they are awful!
Glad you are feeling better now thou :-) oh geez i cant imagine what the binder must feel like, poor you! Im still not allowed to shower how blooming annoying, however im seeing my PS again tomorrow so im hoping he gives me the go ahead then :-) god knows im looking forward to a hot shower!! i have one slightly higher than the other too and its my righty lol. How are you finding sleeping? i really miss sleeping on my side its awful and my nipples are ultra sensitive at the moment which i just hate!!!
So glad to have BJSF, and to have met some lovely ladies!! xxx

Re: BA finally done....happybunny for sure :-)
Aww that first shower is amazing, im sure youll get the go ahead tomorrow, i was 9 days post op when i was first allowed one. It will be the longest shower youve ever had :o)
It seems to be the side which we write with that takes a bit longer to drop and settle, my pcc said its because muscles are tighter or something. Im not too concerned are you?
Sleepinng is ok, tho im still propped up but now ive found out how to arrange my pillows its better.
Same here with my nipples, i thought it was because im not wearing a bra and my clothes were rubbing (?) but maybe its just the feeling coming back :o)
Fingers crossed for hot shower

Re: BA finally done....happybunny for sure :-)
Oh I can't wait too feel that hot water so fingers crossed I do get the go ahead tomorrow lol!
Oh really that makes sense I suppose, no I'm not bothered in the slightest I know the will settle in there own good time :-)
Haha I too have mastered the pillow arranging, I'm not uncomfortable I just love sleeping on my side, especially as I was suffering with a dogdy belly I just wanted to curl up on my side, I keep testing it but it really doesn't feel nice at all.
Apparently the sensitive nipples are a positive sign that all is healing well so ill take that I suppose :-) are you happy with your size and look even thou its early days?
Xxx

Re: BA finally done....happybunny for sure :-)
Morning!
Yeah im happy with size and the look of them, ive had a couple of days where my husband has found me in tears and ive complained that they arent big enough! Ive managed to put that one to bed now tho! I was rumaging through my undie drawer looking for socks and bras were falling out all over and i realised that i could throw them all out, all the gel ones and padded ones gone! Then i came across an unpadded one and thought id try it on and my hubby and i were laughing as it was way too small, barely covering half of what i have now. So that made me happier :o)
They dont look that great really in the early days tho do they? From the front they look ok but if i turn to the side they look really odd but i imagine that will correct itself when they drop.
Its certainly not a quick fix is it? Have u a rough idea of the size youll end up with?
xx
