Getting measured for sports bra
Just wanted to share this with you ladies I case you found it helpful.
I went shopping for some more sorts bras today (am 12 days post op) out of all the shops I tried I found marks and Spencer's to be the most helpful. The lovely ladies in there explained about sizes and helped me find the right bras for me.
In a lot of the other shops they just didn't seem bothered and no where else took the time to explain things. I was trying on 34D and they said to try a 32DD and it fitted perfect.
Also they do a great bra with a zip at the front and its only £19 :-)
Hope this helps ladies that are wondering where to go for bras

Re: Getting measured for sports bra
Big YAY! for Marksies! glad you're nice and cumfy in your new bra hun.
The zip front must be a new range then as I used marksies zipped front one too and they stopped manufacturing them in 2009, which seemed really strange as they were so popular at the time. But great to see them back, if they're anything like the oldies I'd definately recommend them too. xx x

I got it in the white and it is so comfortable, bit difficult to do up as you have to squash everything little but well worth it. I was suffering with my other bras as my skin has been very sensitive but this one doesn't seem to cause me problems xx

Re: Getting measured for sports bra
Its similar, except mine doesn't have a racer back or a bottom seam, the back had a criss cross effect to it, so maybe this is an improved version... I wish they'd have left the bottom seam out though under the cup and this really appealed to me after having my surgery as they was nothing to irritate incisions, but you can be our guinea pig and let us know how you get along with it. lol.
They are tight do do up I agree, but the comfort they give once your breasts are held stable is like nothing else isn't it!!! You just dont get that from the Asda/Tesco bras, I'd personally rather pay the extra couple of quid to get one of these bras for sure. xx

I couldn't find ANY affordable zip up front sports bra's straight after my op. I'm still in them for atleast another month so I will try these out. X

Re: Getting measured for sports bra
Bra update, the only problem I seem to be having with it is my boobs are rubbing together where it holds them so tight and it's making them sore. Apart from that it's really comfortable xx

Re: Getting measured for sports bra
It's probably because you're sweating between your breasts lovely. If you have an old flannel or any other absorbant material, maybe cut a piece to size and pop it between your cleavage to stop them rubbing lovely. xx
