how long before trying for another baby
Reading hotknockers question made me think but I didn't want to take over her post so I started my own. How long do you think u should wait after having implants to try for another baby because when your pregnant they go bigger so could that irritate the new implant or whatever and effect it healing, should you wait until it totally healed? I don't plan on trying again for atleast a couple of years as it popped into my head I thought I would ask. Xx

Re: how long before trying for another baby
I would personally wait a year at least, but we have had ladies on BJSF who have accidentally become pregnant as soon as I think, 3 months post-op and they came back and reported that they were still very happy with their boobs babe. xx
Re: how long before trying for another baby
Yeah that's what I thought would be best, thanks for the reply xx

If you had wanted another baby very soon, I probably would have suggested postponing your BA until afterwards. However, you only get one life hun, so get your boobies and when the baby making mood strikes you, why not go with it. It may take a few months to catch anyway.
Re: how long before trying for another baby
No I wouldn't want another soon at all my first is only 1 I just wanted to know for future reference really because I know that I'm going to have quite a few more ops on them. Would just being pregnant ruin them abit I thought that it would only really be breast feeding, which I don't plan on even trying next time as it just wouldn't happen with my daughter and don't want to go through that again xx

It depends how pregnancy affects your boobs, some people find their boobs dont get that big during the pregnancy itself and others find they get massive.

Re: how long before trying for another baby
If pregnancy changes the appearance of your boobs for the worse, it will regardless of whether you breastfeed or not, so don't let that be the reason to breastfeed or not. It's the pregnancy itself that will stretch the ligaments and produce the hormone relaxin.
You've already been pregnant, so your previous experience might be an indication of how your breasts change, or in your case don't change much, if they didn't go south before, they may not again, it's down to genetics. That's why some women still have perky breasts after pregancies and breastfeeding, and others don't regardless of their feeding choice I'm afraid.
I breastfed both my children, my mother didn't breastfeed either of us, we both sagged, that's just the way it was for us due to our genetics. In my case I waited until I knew I didn't want anymore children, because after my first pregnancy I knew what would happen to my boobs. On the other hand, if you were fine the first time, and don't plan on having another anytime soon, you stand a better chance than me

I've been thinking about this as me and my bf are talking about having kids and I'm post op, but it's done now so I'm just gonna have to live with it! I'm gonna need a reop in 10 years anyway!
