Do you have to wait 6 months til re op?
Hi all, me AGAIN, I seem to be hogging the re op section . Has anyone had a re op earlier than 6 months. I had my BA in Jan, re op on 5 May and was wondering if I have to wait 6 months til I can have another. I know most surgeons say to wait 6 months and just wondered if this was the norm or has anyone had it earlier???
Tks a mill.

Re: Do you have to wait 6 months til re op?
Hi,
I do not know the answer to this one ..sorry, perhaps someone who has will be along soon. If you are still planning on going to London and looking into surgeons and booking appointments, I would discuss your present situation and concerns on telephone with them ..not a P.C. . Ask their advice before so you have some idea and are prepared for consultation. I would imagine that they would require you to be seen though , which again will help you understand and move forward. If you have a better idea of timescale and process it will probably make you feel a bit better.
All the best and I hope you are feeling O.K. XXXX

Re: Do you have to wait 6 months til re op?
It is usually 6 months but i do know girls that have had them sooner, i guess it depends on the problem (i.e with painful cc you can't wait 6 months) and the surgeon, maybe when you go to your consults you could ask hun, we would like to know too x
Re: Do you have to wait 6 months til re op?
Tks girlies. I don't mean to hog the forum aaaargh. Millions of questions running around in my head. Suppose if I have to stick with the wonkiness for 6 months, so be it. Hide it in my bra.

Re: Do you have to wait 6 months til re op?
I remember you saying you werent in any pain after your op so maybe not much was done, i know for this more internal sutures would've been needed and thats usually quite sore so i wonder what she actually did x
Re: Do you have to wait 6 months til re op?
I am waiting to find out exactly. My PS is on hols but she said she has a replacement and to send her pics. I did this last Friday, Sun, Wed and again today. Haven't heard a THING back. Am really pee'd off I must admit. Its so bad if someone has had a re op and nobody is bothered to reply to them. Want to know if she even took the implant out, cos its the same shape as it was before my re op or did she just remove scar tissue at the bottom.

Just had a look at your picture!! It does appear as you describe a little pointy at cleavage. I think you are wise to seek a few different opinions to discover why it has occured and the best way forward for you. That is personally what I would do.
Also I dont think you should be feeling in the least bit bad about posting!!! You are helping others most probably more than yourself!! And that is what the forum is for ...support and sharing experiences. Keep us updated and Take care

Re: Do you have to wait 6 months til re op?
Good luck for Thurs hun, wasnt there a girl on lyb who had hers done in Ireland, im sure she was happy is it the same one? Good luck for all your consultations too xxxx
Re: Do you have to wait 6 months til re op?
Ooh is there, must root thru the threads and look. I have asked another Irish surgeon who works for one of our major hospitals could I go for a consultation with him. He has a clinic down the road from me. The outside of my boob is starting to hurt now, if I brush my arm past it. And was thinking too, if I got it fixed in Ireland, wouldn't it be half the price seen as I only want one boob done?????

Re: Do you have to wait 6 months til re op?
Yeah it should be a lower price as you probably wont even need a new implant so it will jsut be the reconstructive work and hospital fees etc. Yeah i cant remember her username but she had her op in Nov/Dec last year so may be in the nov ladies/dec girls threads x
Re: Do you have to wait 6 months til re op?
Sorry to hear of all the hassle you're having lovely. And don't feel bad about hogging this section, that's what it's there for! I think the girls have given you great advice, and I really hope you get it sorted soon lovely

Re: Do you have to wait 6 months til re op?
Tks to you all for the advice and support . I have consultation booked (just for 2nd opinion) with Irish surgeon on Thursday, then I fly to London 21/22 for consultations to decide what is wrong and If they can/will fix it for me. Maybe the pockets not big enuf, maybe the implant is flipping, maybe implant is dodgy, who knows but I still have to wait at least 6 months to get it fixed. Stuck with wonky boob for the Summer, but hopefully their is light at the end of the tunnel. Who knows, might even go a bit bigger ha ha, wouldn't mind, now I'm getting boob greed, god am I ever happy

Re: Do you have to wait 6 months til re op?
Found out he was a face specialist, not a booby man and the consultation cost 150 euro so I cancelled. Gonna wait til July when I head to London to meet with Stephen Hamilton, Nick Percival, Mr. Singh (Mya) and Mr. Khan (Transform). Gonna see how much it costs to get it fixed and maybe go a bit bigger, 525cc.

That's a shame lovely.
At least you have the opinion of four surgeons to rely on. You should find your answers then.
