Nipple move of 10cm
Hi ladies :)
I've been thinking about the fact the surgeon said my nipples need to be mOved 10cm up! That seems an awful long way!
Is this because so much skin needs to be taken away because they at so saggy??
Does anyone else know how far up theirs were moved?
Love Steph

Re: Nipple move of 10cm
It's sounds like your breast must have a nice shape to them (no sagging) but your nipples are just sat too low on the breast babe, so although 10cm may sound like a lot, for your surgeon it's what is needed to make a lot of difference to how your breasts will aesthetically appear post-op.
If you feel unsure about the consultation at all though sweetheart, do have 1 or 2 more before making any decision, this way you'll have a few surgery plans to compare enabling you to choose the one you feel best suits you.
It's a difficult decision to make I know babe, but having more than just one consultation does make it a little easier. Xxx

I've already paid the deposit :)
I'm having an anchor lift, and I was sat fiddling around the other day tryin to work out what they would be like which is obviously impossible!! They are really saggy to be honest!!
And also have I got to be a active member to set up a picture trail thingy? Xxx

Re: Nipple move of 10cm
Ahhhh my mistake lovely, I presumed you were having a 'nipple lift, not an 'anchor lift' sorry lovely.
Having had an achor lift myself, I can tell you that you'll be thrilled with the results Steph
You literally wont believe the aesthetic changes to your breasts afterwards... It's AMAZING!
I can't remomber now how far up mine were moved, I'm almost 3 years post-op now, all I do know right now is that I'm thrilled with the results and I dont doubt you will be too. xx

Re: Nipple move of 10cm
Haha yes an uplift with 285cc implants! So he said I should only end up no bigger than one cup size bigger than I am now :)
It's gonna be a new me, a new life and a new bit of self confidence that I haven't had for years and in only 22!

Re: Nipple move of 10cm
Well done on your weight loss
My mom had a full anchor lift when I was a child. It's something she's very happy about, and they still look amazing! She didn't have implants though, just a lift. It's the best lift when you have big breasts, grade 3 ptosis and lots of excess skin, and the results are quite outstanding!
I had a lift with implants 2 1/2 months ago. But I had a periareolar mastopexy (donut), since there wasn't enough skin for full lift. If I'd had my lift without implants I would have had a vertical mastopexy (lollipop lift) instead, though could have gotten away with a donut too, just the shape would have been nicer (more conical) with the lollipop lift without implants. I must say I don't like the term nipple lift, sounds misleading. I had all the same internal lift to raise my breast tissue, I just didn't have much skin to remove. But other lifts will only correct mild to moderate ptosis (I had moderate). In your case an anchor lift is the best option, since you can't raise nipples 10cm with the others.
I have 240cc implants, and have gone up one or two cup sizes depending on the bra style, so 285cc sounds right xxx

Re: Nipple move of 10cm
Thanks ladies :)
I was going to wait until I'd had kids but then I thought about it...
I would rather have nice boobs now when I'm more Likely to have them on show than when I've had kids and don't need to impress anyone! So I just feel like I'd rather have the confidence boost now while I should be confident and not like I am!
Xxx

Re: Nipple move of 10cm
Yes totally agree with you, wish I had the opportunity to have mine done 10 years ago, I would have. Also its much easier to have it done these days, more safer.
Its always been a hurdle for me, and if I had had it done years ago I am pretty sure my life would have been very different, I wouldnt have shy'd away from half the stuff I have hid from lol. Althou mine only got really bad from yo yo dieting
So this is one of the best things I will be doing for myself. Cant wait.
So totally go for it!

Re: Nipple move of 10cm
Hey Hun, I had a full anchor lift with 390 unders after losing alot of weight to (11st loss) My Breasts were down by knees literally lol and definatley had them lifted more than 10cm so don't worry hun, if they need it let them lift lol.
Although I have experienced probs with bottoming out etc I don't regret having them done and they are 10 times better than before so go for it you will be so pleased. I am exactly the same cup size as I was before as after all the excess skin was taken away and then the implant added it evened it all out. Good luck hun and well done xx

Re: Nipple move of 10cm
I'm the same BouncyDD, yo yo dieting has caused it and im only 22!!
Butterfly - What is bottoming out?! He told me im not alowwed anything bigger than 320cc's as my skin is really elastic and anything bigger will just make them sag again!
I kind of feel like maybe I want to go for 320's?? At the moment the plan is 285cc!
How much cup size difference do you think 285 to 320 would be?? Or am i better off staying with 285 to avoid sagging again??
So excited now!! 17 days till my holiday and 32 days till my new boobies!!!
xxxx

Re: Nipple move of 10cm
Hi Stepthorne, bottoming out is when the implant falls to the bottom of the breast giving no upper pole and making the nipple placment very high. My tissue is very elastic to and unfortunately i need more skin taken away which is being done in August.
I would take the advice of your surgeon regarding implant size as it's not just about the cup size it's the weight of the implant in your skin. I don't think 285-320 would make alot of difference to your cupsize hun so I would go with what he thinks is best with regards to sagging xx
