Good luck! It's never easy standing up to people when you want something but it's a worse feeling coming away knowing you didn't speak up for yourself - stay strong and remember we're all here for you Hug X

Tracey not happy with the left breast as it has not settled as much as the right.

So have just come out of the consultation and surgeon informed the scar tissue where the incision is placed has hardened which means the implant has not being able to drop into place properly. Totally gutted but surgeon has given options on how to rectify this.

First option is to wait another 6 months massage like mad and see if this helps to soften the scar tissue. If this doesn't work then he said he will do further surgery to get rid Of the hard scar tissue with the hope it will rectify the problem.

There isnt a charge for the surgeons services however I will need to pay hospital costs

Anyways I going to look for the cc post that was recently written on here as I remember there was mention of a vitamin that could help.

One of my breasts needed encouragement to drop too hun, I too was requested to massage it to encourage it to drop.

I would massage firmly downwards every two hours and thankfully mine did eventually drop at 10 weeks post-op, so just wanted you to know there is hope lovely.

May I ask why your after care cover isn't paying for the hospital costs involved in your surgery? xx

I was told to rub vitamin E onto my scars as it helps break the tissue down x

Hey cookie, I went with a private surgeon, so the cost of the hospital facilities was not covered in the aftercare. When I decided to go for the ba I went on the recommendation of a friend and didn't really research the whole process enough. which in retrospect was naive of me. But saying that the surgeon has being really reassuring and said if further surgery is required he will try and see what he can do in terms of cost.

I am goin to email him later with notes of what we spoke about to make sure its on record as he didn't really make notes during the consultation. That's not to say he didn't record it after.

Thanks for the advice about the vitiam e, I'm going to get some this evening and have me a merry boobie rubbing session. Just hope at nearly 7 months po I can still break Down the scar tissue.

Thanks for all the replies. Xxxxxx

Oh poor you. I would really try the massaging and see if this helps. Hopefully it will and you will be fine. Fingers crossed xx

Ahhh I see.... Yes, ensuring your problems are noted is essential sweetheart, so it's a good idea if you're not sure to ask Worried 1978086825 xx
