Re: July Buddies
I have the choice of 310 or 365. Think I'm going 365 but don't want to end up too big so not 100% sure, but I probably will. I'm getting a nipple lift too and they will be overs. Been out and got my v pillow and arnica today, just got to get sports bras. Wishful and twinkle what bra is that? Are they macom?

Re: July Buddies
Oh I missed out lots in that story that I have remembered since lol. Abit annoyed they have moved my appointment with the nurse forward 2 days so I've got 2 days extra of not knowing when I can be clean lol. The nurses are so great there though no waiting when you push the buzzer for the nurse straight into your room in seconds I could do with that service at home haha, so have a great relaxing time being waited on you've paid for it after all make the most of it and enjoy it xx

Re: July Buddies
I'm doing great I don't even feel like I have had an op to be honest. Mine isn't a straight forward case so I'm not too sure what to expect but I am very happy with what I see and even if he thought after 6-9 months they could be improved I would be perfectly happy with them how they are. Mr clarke was totally honest and told me not to expect things to be perfect abit of a bubble burster but I much prefer that than someone who will promise me the world for me to sign a form I think he is a great surgeon and you are in good hands xx

Re: July Buddies
Hey doubletrouble, best advice I can give you is to stock up on the babywipes and dry shampoo. Eleven days without a proper shower is pretty horrid! (got the okay to shower today and I'm over the moon!!) Also get dried fruit and senokot for the few days after your op as you'll be properly bunged up. Other than that line up loads of films and books to keep yourself occupied and have a lightweight waterproof jacket, walks are brilliant for getting the blood pumping/healing and in this weather you'll need something you know will keep you dry!!! Also I took arnica for a week before and a week after and have no bruising (usually bruise like a peach). Best of luck with planning for boobie day!!!

Re: July Buddies
The only tips I've got is get some throat sweets, make sure you have got everything you need in your bag don't forget anything especially a hair brush my hair was stuck together afterward and I forgot mine make the most out of being waited on for aslong as you can, get senokot, lx79 is right about the arnica I used 2 wake up 2 find bruises all over my legs every day not knowing how I got them but I havnt bruised at all so it must be something to do with that my partner threw a lighter to me once from about 5 foot away I had a black eye for weeks, I'm actually able to wash my own hair so I havnt needed dry shampoo but if you havnt got anyone to do it for you it is very worth getting xx

Re: July Buddies
Thanks lx79 and twinkle for your tips. I think after being on this site constantly for the past months I have everything now. I've booked into my local hairdressers for 5 days and 10 days post op to have my hair washed and blow dried as I have long hair and cannot stand it not being clean. I've got loads of baby wipes as have a 1 year old! Lol my hubby has 2 weeks off work to help me out and look after kids so hopefully i should be able to rest - he bought me a kindle bless him so I can read in bed. He will also be on hand to get anything i need :-) i asked my nurse about arnica as went out and bought it but she said my surgeon doesn't recommend it? I may take it post op anyway! Lol I have 3 Macom bras, my v shaped pillow, button up tops, throat sweets and I always eat lots of fruit so I think I've covered all areas - hopefully. I'm so excited now, can't wait!
