Re: Tonight's the night - any last minute advice?
I've just spoken to clinic manager and she says there really is nothing she can do as it's been passed to head office.
She is unable to give me the number for them!!!! Im just so worried that Ill be waiting days and I know for a fact they need paperwork from me which they haven't yet asked for which will further delay things.

Omg! I've just read your thread, how awful for you! I am so sorry this has happened.
Keep on bugging them so they know you're not going to be fobbed off, also if this doesn't get resolved, I think you've got a really case to make a claim. Tis must be causing you such distress! Unbelievable.

I would keep calling her and make her keep chasing them, i would also tell her to make it clear to them that if you do not get a call back by the end of the day you will look into taking it further
fingers crossed xx

Don't pass on any original paper work of your own if they ask for it. Simply send them photo copies as it's all too easy for paper work to get *coughs* lost isn't it.
In the meantime whilst they have you waiting Tracy, why not speak with the citizens advice bureau. They'll be able to tell you were you stand with this legally and when you get a response back from their head office you'll be fully armed with information to tackle anything that comes your way should it not be in your favour. xx
Re: Tonight's the night - any last minute advice?
UPDATE: Clinic Manager phoned back. She has had approval from Head Office to approve the re-op !
I also wanted to claim travel plus the week off work I need off. She said they will pay petrol there and back but won't pay the week off work.
Don't get me wrong Im happy to be getting the reop but can't believe im getting nothing in the way of compensation!!
Just wanted to know if everyone would be happy with this outcome?
P.s. She did say that it is a 'goodwill gesture' that they're replacing both and letting me choose different implants as really they should only replace the wrong one!! x

Re: Tonight's the night - any last minute advice?
I think I'd have to seek further advice before accepting anything Tracy. The clinic wont be aware so you've nothing to loose in just finding out what your options might be.
You are secure in knowing you're going to have both of your implants replaced to the size of your choice now, so if you hit a brick wall at least you can be happy with what you have as well as being able to re-claim travel expenses too.
You can take a deep breath now at least Tracey... whether you choose to accept or find out if you could take things further is now your decision babe.
Really happy for you that they have at least done the right thing in agreeing to a re-op. xx

I agree with Cookie i would also just seek some advice first to make sure.
But it's good that you are getting your new implants done xx

Re: Tonight's the night - any last minute advice?
I think that if you are happy with what they have offered and remain confident with the company and surgeon performing the surgery then go for it xx
I don't think you are going to get much more than what they have offered even if you went via the courts hun xx
on the reop xx

Oh my God! Don't know how u have missed this thread but I cannot believe the surgeons disgusting attitude, and your PCC saying they should really have only just replaced the incorrect implant, cheeky ****!

Re: Tonight's the night - any last minute advice?
Hi Wishful, had the re-op 2 weeks ago...... but the whole thing wasn't a pleasant experience and Im glad it's over. Mr T was so vile to me, said I was making a big fuss and reduced me to tears it was horrible. As I was unhappy with my upper pole fulness I decided I wanted to go from high profile to extra high profile. Mr T said he didn't like using the xhp and that he wanted nothing to do with my decision re choosing size. To cut a long story short I had a 30cc difference (due to different sized boobs) and as I wanted the xhp I had to chose either a 20cc difference or 45cc - he wouldn't help me choose. I went for the 45cc difference and now one of my boobs is bigger than the other! Im hoping they will equal out over time... Otherwise, I def should've gone for the 20cc difference :-( Let's just hope they level out x

Aww I'm so sorry to hear how upset he has made you, can't believe someone would treat you like that when it was their mistake.
Fingers and toes crossed for you that you heal quick and they settle in and you get the boobies you want

Awww Tracey c'mere
I can't believe how badly you were treated sweetheart
In regard to your size issue lovely as I'm sure you're already aware, at just 3 weeks post op you still have a long way to go through your recovery. So chin up sweetheart its very possible your new boobs WILL even out. Xx
