Any last minute advice?
In less than 48 hours I will no longer be part of the ittybittytitty committee
Anything else you girls can advise me on? Ie what housework to do which isn't obvious etc haha
It's flying by, my nervousness still hasn't returned, it just kind of feels like the build up to Christmas but 15 years ago hahahaha

Re: Any last minute advice?
I've had a bit of a rearrange in the kitchen so nothing is too high. I have a walk in closet with high shelving so I'm just gonna hope I don't need anything or wait for the boyf to come round hahahah.
I haven't cooked any meals. I'm really strange when it comes to forward thinking of food, I also don't like reheated food. I always decide on the day what to buy and eat so again my boyf is in charge of that. No doubt i'll eat pasta every day lol.
Omg it's pretty much dark outside. That means 1 more day in my head
Still surreal, I don't believe it's actually going to happen to me I really don't.

Re: Any last minute advice?
Get yourself some throat lozenges in. Often your throat can be quite sore after surgery.
If you don't have ice packs - get some in! They will be your very best friend along with your V-pillow.
Be sure you eat plenty if protein post-op. This will help with your healing, so lots of chicken, eggs, fish, beans.... It honestly will help promote healing, so ditch the pasta babe.
If you smoke, its best you stop now. Smoking really does raise the risks as you heal so if you do smoke, its best to quit. At least for the first week after surgery.... The longer you stop the better for yourself though.
There's also a thread [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] you might like to take a look at xx

Eggs, quick and easy to cook, scrambled, boiled and great protien source.
If no one can go and get a shop for you, do one online, tomorrow and get it delivered for a few days after your op.
Dry shampoo is a life saver for the greasy unwashed hair for a few days, or book a wash and blow dry for around 3/4 days after.
Lots of DVD box sets or recorded programs to watch.
And maybe get your Xmas prezzies wrapped now saves doing it whilst your boobs are healing!!!

Re: Any last minute advice?
I'm all stocked up on eggs :D
I didn't think about what I was going to be doing this weekend before my son got back. I think I need to resubscribe to netflix haha
I've been frenzy buying and this last week lol. In fact I think I might set myself an earlier deadline in the Christmases to come because it's not so busy and I can find everything I want lol.
Thank you for the tips. I'm starting to get belly nerves lol x

Re: Any last minute advice?
Talking of constipation, they will probably give you some senna, I didn't take it until 4 days post op and nothing had happened and it took nearly a week and I was in a lot of pain with it so I wish I would have started taking the senna straight away as it's all natural.
Good luck and have a fantastic day!
