I've just found this site, hi everyone!
I had an uplift and implants one week ago, and I went to see the nurse today. She removed the dressings and cut away some stitches that were poking out. I am still in a fair bit of pain as is to be expected. She said that one of the scars was bleeding a bit and that she thought it might be due to the bruising which is pretty bad, and she has booked me in to have it checked again on Monday. I am really worrying now that I've done something to it by moving my arms above my head or something. When will the pain go away?! How long do I have to sleep on my back for? The nurse said to talk about this at my 2 week post op appointment.

Thank you, I will keep a check on them. She covered the bad bit with a dressing and it looks completely white so hopefully all is well under there. Can't wait till they are healed up and I can put some bio oil on them. Your pic looks fab too Kay :) xxx

Sooooo, I went back to see the nurse today, she said that there is a small hole where the big black bruise is under a part of the scar apparently the bruise is stopping the skin from joining together. She sprayed some stuff on it and put a new plaster on, and said it should heal up in a couple of days, if it hasn't healed up in four days I have to contact her and see the surgeon :(
Good news is that she gave me some steri-strips and said I can shower now. Also she said that my surgeon is the best at scars and that mine look great so that was good to hear.
