finally get my first wound check tomoz
16 days after having my Ba I finally get checked out tomoz by the nurse. Hope my scars are ok and theres no infection. If there is I shall kick off big time as this should have been done last week!!! But they gave me the stuff to do it at home. Iv got my bio oil ready but is this the time to start using it once the dressings are off?? I'll ask the nurse tommorow. So far soo good I am back to my usual routine beside pushing the pram, i usually go for daily walks but I pushed it on wednesday and my left boob was aching so I took that as I wasn't ready to push the pram yet. I also got a m&s bra the other day and stuck wearing my original one as it sits directly on my scars and I'm worried there not healed yet so it might damage them. Do you ladies wear one that sits on the scar . The one iv got goes halfway Down my stomach so it doesn't rub the scar at all xxx

hi, am sure your checkup will go fine hon, think youd know if there was any problems with your incisions.
Finding a comfy bra is hard int it! seems they all rub somewhere, if its not the incision its the nip! Hopefully this m & s one you got will be ok, doesnt matter if its a bit low on your ribs so long as its comfy and its supporting your new bits.
Pushing a pram - ooooh - I bet thats hard - i found it hard pushing the hoover around so a babe in a pram must be a bugger. xx

If the band rubs your scar try putting a bit of soft lint or gauze under it ,it stops the pressure on the scar abit!!xxx

Thanks ladies, I have got a lil bit of dressings left so I will put some under when I wear that bra, I presume it fits ok I Got the m&s women to look at it to make sure it supports me correctly. Yes kat pushing my son in his pram is a nightmare, its a lovely light pram but when you have to lift it up curbs its a lil hard when my boobs r aching. Xxx
