You are still having problems Jen?! It was DB if I recall correctly? Sorry to hear this! Me too and my most recent 4th opinion suggests I too need an uplift! Bloody bugger. At least you know you're not alone in this predicament! Wishing you all the luck in the world getting it sorted xx

They may not need to do it seperately as your boobs have already stretched to accomodate the implants.

Re: did anyone have a lift and implant together at sam
i did both at the same time plus a areola reduction and on my first op doc suggested not to get big implants so he would be able to remove as much skin as possible so I went with his advise...he said if later u want to go bigger then we can do that but first let me remove as much skin as I can...so he did!! So now he said I can go up one size with no problem.....ur more than welcome to see my pics. I had a FULL ANCHOR LIFT AREOLA REDUCTION AND MODERATE IMPLANTS/UNDERS!

I think he will probably work around your existing implants hun unless you want to increase size xx
Have they said they are going to remove the implant to do the lift? xx What's making you think this is the case x

Re: did anyone have a lift and implant together at sam
i have 360 on left and 400cc on the right moderate/unders I don't like that they look flat like they have no projection and flat on the upper portion so doc suggested a better result can be achieved with high profiles and he will also do a scar revision per his requested...at the same time I'm going up one size....

Re: did anyone have a lift and implant together at sam
In UK it's normal practice to have the implants and lift at the same time xx It can be done in 2 separate ops but UK PS's not keen on this xx
I think if you need a lift they will just tighten things up around your existing implants xx
The ONE thing I would say is make sure you ask to see some stitching done bythe PS who is going to do the op on you as they all use different techniques and some are really good at it and the scars are brilliant whereas others, namely my first PS Khan, has absolutely atrocious stitching and my scars are horrific!!! xx
I kid you not they are about a cm wide AROUND the areola and look horrible xx whereas my stitching done under my boob by Mr Martin has near enough disappeared in places it is so fine xx

babe I hade no stiches on the outter portion of any of my full anchor lift including my areola they were all internal stitches my doc only use surgecial glue on the outside and the scar around my areola is almost invisible!!

Re: did anyone have a lift and implant together at sam
Again, here in the UK it is not the norm for surgeons to use surgical glue (if at all) for breast surgery xx
And as I said in my first post above, different surgeons use different techniques, some use internal, some still use external stitching xx
If the scarring puts you off Jen and you are not keen on potential scars, then your first priority MUST be someone who has an exceptional technique and who knows that this is a main priority for you hun xx Otherwise you potentially can end up looking as though you have been operated on with a knife and fork, like I did xx
After all you don't want to swap one problem for another, which turns out to be worse xx

Re: did anyone have a lift and implant together at sam
thats exatly what i fear! that gthe scarring will be very obvious and that i will regret it. But at the same time, my breast shape now concerns me so much that i wonder if it would be worth it. it will have to be a transform ps that does my lift, so il askl for one tht does excellent scar work. xxx

Re: did anyone have a lift and implant together at sam
 that's a good plan xx
Just be absolutely clear with them that you want someone who is skilled in this area xx AND only go ahead if you are 100% confident with them xx
It was stressed to me prior to my 3rd revision that I was going to end up with more scars xx I wasn't keen but decided in the end that the new scars would be worth it if it fixed the problem xx I was expecting the scarring to be like the original scarring (sh*t basically) but was pleasantly surprised to find that it was soooo much better xx
Good Luck hun xx let us know how you get on xx
