Having trouble finding Non wired bras!
Hello ladies!
I'm having lots of trouble finding nice non-wired bras in my size!! I'm 32E and most the nice ones only go to a D :(
Would a normal bra work if I took the wires out? Has anyone else done this or would they still aggravate my scars?
I've been advised by my surgeon not to wear underwires for 6 MONTHS! And yes he def said months and its in writing.... seems a long time to wait??

Debenhams do some lovely non wired bras Hun. I bought a pink & white set of two with pretty stitching & also a nude & black set in a very comfy material. I lived in mine from 6-12 weeks post op xxx

Re: Having trouble finding Non wired bras!
Ahh thanks they r pretty arent they! I'm only just over 3 weeks PO and I measured 32 E at M&S which I know is early to get measured but my surgeon said after 4weeks I can start wearing non wired bras so needed to get measured.... But I've heard that your boobs can get bigger as they drop and fluff... have yours changed in size since u were 3wks PO to now? x

Re: Having trouble finding Non wired bras!
I have found they have definitely dropped and changed shape & yes some of my 32 E's are now a little small & I need an F cup! The non wired bras I bought from debenhams were a little roomy at first and now they feel a little snug, but they are quite stretchy so still feel comfortable. Definately don't go buying too many bras early on as you will probably find as they drop they go up a size! xxx

Re: Having trouble finding Non wired bras!
Very useful information girls
I am also around 3 weeks post op, 32E at the moment and trying to plan ahead for next Friday's release from my surgical bra (it has an integral strap). I went to Matalan and Asda this week and came out of both shops feeling as though I was a monster and had self-mutilated as I couldn't fidn a single bra which fitted me . Depressing.
I have been onto Debenhams online and ordered the bras you recommended jojo so I hope they fit! They certainly look pretty which is more than I can say for this black enormous strait jacket I'm strapped into. Feels a bit like I'm wearing a parachute pack on my chest

Haha I know what u mean! I turned round to my friend and said don't ever get ur boobs done cos u can't get nice bras! I just had the ump cos I was stressed out looking for one! I actually love my boobs really though and the long wait for a normal bra will be worth it! So glad I got them done during the winter mths i'd be screwing if it was summer!!x

Re: Having trouble finding Non wired bras!
Marks & Spencer have loads of them! Been in today and they range from A-G. Some of them aren't so pretty, but there were a few in size E that were really nice!

Re: Having trouble finding Non wired bras!
Jojo, those are gorgeous bras, thanks for the link! I must admit I've never liked wearing underwires everyday. I like a combo of nonwired and underwired, so it's nice to find pretty nonwired bras. I agree with abbie, and I find they can dig into me if I wear them all day.
S4mm, I know some of the girls on here have taken wires out of underwired bras post op, I haven't tried this myself, still pre op xxx

Re: Having trouble finding Non wired bras!
Hi girls,
I went into bravissimo forvpnsome help with soft cup bras. They put me in this one and it's fab. Not too grannyish but the lady said that you can never get that uplifted shape without an underwired bra so i've learned not to expect to much of them !

Hope everyone finds something they like, it seems like forever until underwired day !! Xxx

I've just ordered them bra's from Debenhams.. thanks jojo!
I looked in M&S and they had lovely bra's but they were all too small or the one's in an E cup were 36 and above bands..... that was my store anyway!

Re: Having trouble finding Non wired bras!
i find i dont actually need the support of wires since i had my boobs done anyway. Theyre pretty self supporting, but at least a bra stops peoples eyes being taken out by my nipples
