Pensioners with augmented boobs?
Right, this sounds mega random, but when we decide to have BA's we're obviously thinking about how amazing they are gonna look in the present and next 10-20 years. But, because I'm a worrier, I'm thinking what about when you are on your 70's and 80's? Would we need them removed & if we didn't would we need new implants and wouldn't they look daft?
Also if we had them removed at 70 wouldn't we be left with saggy sacks of skin?
Thanks for shedding any light on this. Still wanting BA (can't see me changing my mind) but have random worries about it.

Re: Pensioners with augmented boobs?
Forgive me cos Ive had a few ok? but life is for living isnt it chick - now ... RIGHT now? who the feck knows what the future will bring?
Im the happiest Ive been in so many years I cant count. This makes me happy. Its altered how I feel about lots of things ... mad how two little bags of silicone have given me the boost I have needed for bloody years but they have. When Im a pensioner (probably a lot sooner for me than you my lovely ) I will think about it again then.
Life changes ALL the time, planning for the future is such guesswork. Make yourself happy for now and then in the future do what makes you happy then.
Like I said, Ive had a few, I may well be talking poo - but its from the heart. xxx

Re: Pensioners with augmented boobs?
Thanks.
It's just my husbands playing devils advocate right now as to why I shouldn't get it done and that is one of the questions I can't answer, what will happen when I'm a lot older. I was hoping there was an answer I can come back at him with!
NOBODY in my family wants me to have this done, even my MIL started getting angry with me when I came back from Stephen Hamilton really happy. Saying what about my son, etc, basically implying I was selfish for risking myself in an operation I didn't need. And my husband doesn't want me spending all that money, even though it's my money.
God it's so frustrating. I've finally got the opertunity to do it and I feel like there are loads of obstacles in the way.

Don't let your MIL influence you. She has no right to push her opinion on you. I wouldn't even talk to her about it. Sorry your OH is not coming around to the idea. The OAP bit has entered my mind but doesn't worry me. I have been unhappy for years and it started taking over my life and nothing felt positive as I was lacking in so much confidence. I'm enjoying my life for the better now. X

Re: Pensioners with augmented boobs?
Ooooh I dont think your MIL should have said that to you about your son. Thats bellow the belt. Maybe you should say to her that if there was another op that needed medically doing (not serious like life or death but need) then no-one would bat an eyelid. That op would be no more or less safe than the ba. You are cared for so well by the anesthatist, one on one - probably better taken care of than at ANY other time.
Its a real shame about your OH, but from reading on here there have been a few that have husbands/partners felt the same way and it was more borne out of worry for them cos of how much they love you. And then ive seen that they have come around nearer the time cos its been explained to them about the need to have it done. and then some that have been so thrilled with their new toys theyve overcome their issues with it
Im guessing youve talked it over loads with him? Maybe a little nudge or two more? and really dont let the MIL get to you, sorry to be blunt but this is between you and your OH. xx

Re: Pensioners with augmented boobs?
I dont plan on stopping anything, why shouldn't I be a pensioner with great boobs, up until 80. I'll probably have them out then. I dont think I'll care if they are sacks or not. But in 50 years time they might have something I wont need to have removed. We'll have to wait and see. I will still be dyeing my hair, doing my nails, wearing make up, so why not have my boobs too.

Re: Pensioners with augmented boobs?
Hi lovebeauty14, I think that by the time we reach 70 or 80 years old, we wouldn't care so much about our boobs anymore. You are still young and I'm sure that you want to look your best at this stage. However, even if you decide to remove them when you're 70 or 80, the surgeon will neatly stitch your boob back into place by stretching the skin (like a lift). You could also fill them with macrolane instead ;) I'm sure, that by the time we reach that age there will be many developments in research and medicine and other remedies will be possible. Yesterday is history and tomorrow is mystery... live now!!

I'm not bothered if I get them removed when I'm 60 + because let's face it, by the time your 70 are you really going to be getting them out apart from when you wash?! Lol!

I LOVE this! Perhaps we should all have tee-shirts printed with this logo and have a mass meet up somewhere? Get the press involved and sock it to the doubters out there? Jiggly at 60? Heavenly at 70? Old but bold!

I flipping hope so! More chance of someone wanting to see them (myself included) if they've had a little work on 'em too. I plan to become more disgraceful as I age - a life spent pleasing others is behind an old person and you can choose to become either bitter or fitter!!
Soz about the rhymes -I'll stop now

Re: Pensioners with augmented boobs?
My next door neighbour who was in her 70s used to flash her boobs at one of the other neighbours, she was a right flirt and so much fun with it!
Re being selfish - by investing this money in you to make you happy, you are investing in the future of you, your children and your relationships (work, personal, social etc). The happier you are the more positive outlook you will have and so on.
As for what about when you are older - does your OH have any tattoos that you could pull him on "well did you think about how that will look when you are older?" or does he have a nice car that he will one day have to upgrade when it wears out?
You don't buy a new dress and wonder what it will look like in 3 years time.
