How did healing feel and go for you via areola? Empty How did healing feel and go for you via areola?

Post by SpicySunshine 30th January 2012, 7:59 pm

Hi all. I guess I haven't been on here since August... just to re-cap: I had saline breast implants via armpit-entry in May 2011. 6-Month follow-up visit was in November 2011, the original doctor dismissed my concerns and said to "just hard-massage the left breast until crackling noises are heard to break-up the scar tissue." (I'm thinking, "OUCH!!")

The same day in November, I also met with a new plastic surgeon and he told me other things that were wrong! Needless to say, I was upset, but relieved that my problems were not all in my head!

I am nearly ready to schedule my corrective breast surgery. The difference this time, is that entry will be made via areola (not armpit, like last time.) What did the healing process feel like for those of you that had it done this way? Numbing, itchy, burning, etc. What was scaring like?

Whatever you're willing to tell me is appreciated! How did healing feel and go for you via areola? 476424
