I have grade 3 CC :(
Hi ladies,
Well I've just seen my ps and he has confirmed I have grade 3 cc.
I have a huge range of emotions obviously I'm gutted and upset but I'm also relieved in a way as the last 5 months of just not knowing and waiting to see if it's gets better, not being able to lift my daughter probably, exercise, wear a bra the list goes on has been awful. Basically I feel like my life's been on hold for 5 months and now I can start to move on.
My ps has said he will operate whenever I want so long as he has 4 weeks notice which I think is fair. It's all covered under the warranty as well which is a huge relief. With my hubby's work commitments it's probably going to be around April.
Thanks for listening girls xx

Re: I have grade 3 CC :(
Thanks girls it means a lot!
Doony from 1 week po I've had problems with my right boob and just always had a feeling. I've had to see my ps every 3/4weeks since my op but today he confirmed it and told me it will only get worse now as its definitely capsular contracture and not muscular as he first thought. Xx

Re: I have grade 3 CC :(
So sorry to hear this hunni, but your PS sounds like a really stand up surgeon to re-op without any issues!
May I ask, did you have pain? Or was it just distorted? I'm only asking because I had unders and sometimes my rightie feels a bit off (but not all the time) I'm just trying to get an idea of the feeling you had....
Good luck with your re op!

Re: I have grade 3 CC :(
Hi Alexandra,
My Ps has been great when I think about it there's been times when I felt like like he should of been doing something sooner but he only had my best interests at heart making sure it was cc and not muscular contracture as I had problems with that from about 2 weeks po and by making sure I was fully healed before another op.
I have pain in right breast and pin point exactly where the pain is. It's a hard pain to describe it aches most of the time and sometimes it feels as though it's burning and stinging. This boobs always cold as well. I know a lot of implants can feel cold especially if it's cold outside but my left is nothing like my right it's freezing. And as for touching the right that's very painful even when the kids give me a cuddle it hurts a lot.
If you've got any doubts about yours hun

Re: I have grade 3 CC :(
Thanks Lauren, I will defo ask my PS about mine, but it's more of a "loose, shifting" feeling in the rightie, rather than a pain.
You must be so happy to finally have the end in sight (pain free!!)
Best of luck, let me know how it goes!! xxx

Oops hit send to early I was going to say if you have any doubts hun then definitely go and see your ps. I felt like I was obsessing over nothing at the beginning but turns out I was right. So glad now that I was persistent and send my ps every 3/4 weeks.
Hope this helps. Xx
