How to haggle?
Well girls, I've been reading a lot about haggling to get a lower price BUT how do you go about it? Do go about it after initial consultation? Do you mention your considering other companies?
Any tips on anything in this subject would be amazing!
Thankyou.

Re: How to haggle?
I'm afraid I'm not much help with the haggling, I just said that if I booked up a last slot for that same month could I get a reduced price. They offered me £500 off and I had my surgery 3 weeks after my consultation.
I think there's a thread on here somewhere with some useful tips on haggling, I'll see if I can find it xxx

Re: How to haggle?
If you are planning to go with mybreast im pretty sure they wont haggle at all, but THG and transform seem to give a slightly higher price than they are willing to do the surgery for so its worth playing a little hard to get with them!
If you use the search box on the forum im sure there are some threads on haggling that i read a while back xx

Re: How to haggle?
Mybreast won't haggle, but they're offering 10% off atm if you book before February 24. I know you're interested in a couple of surgeons there, I missed the offer by a few days, but I'm sure you'll have more luck than me xxx

Re: How to haggle?
I haggled with THG, I basically was given two prices, i think it was 4000 for cui or 5000 for natrell 25 year. I called my patient care adviser and told her that I was ready to go at short notice, had the money, had been given an cheaper price (not true) but wanted to go with thg. I told her if she would do the natrelle 25 year implants with an overnight stay for 4500 I would send the deposit today. she called me back in five miutes and accepted. xx

Re: How to haggle?
Offer them a lot less than the quote. If they say 4000 tell them you really would like to go with them but the price is a problem and you have been given a lower quote, could they be prepared to go with 3200 if they say no, then say it's a shame and say goodbye. They will probably say they will see what they can do for you. They should come back with another offer. If it's Mybreast I've only known of one person who was able to haggle the price down and it was only because they needed 2 ops.
Re: How to haggle?
misf1 - so basically I call THG and say I've had a quote for say £4500, say I can't afford that, but would you accept £3800? for example. Sounds really cheeky doesn't it? lol
