To haggle or not to haggle? Empty To haggle or not to haggle?

Post by millie10 11th September 2011, 9:14 pm

Hi girls i've made my mind up and am going for ba with nipple lift at Transform in Manchester.. woo hoo hopefully booking in on the 8th of October and already so excited I could wee a little bit To haggle or not to haggle? 375568

But before I go ahead and book it I am desperate for some advice from some of the ladies that have had ops already. Transform have quoted me 3695 for ba and taken this up to 4000 for the nipple lift and ba. Does this seem reasonable? I'd pay double that to be honest to not loathe my chest anymore BUT deep down I am a massive bargain hunter and am always after a discount.

Cos I want the op in 4 weeks i'm worried the date will be booked up if I drag my heels too much - last weds there were available appointments. So any help? What sounds like a good price to pay?

Im paying 3995 as well with transform for a BA only. Are you having ur op as a day case or are you staying overnight hun? Just wondered as i was told 3695 if it was a day case but im not able to have this because i live too far away from the hospital xxx But like you i would be willing to pay double to have decent boobies!!! lol xxx

Very true hun, a friend had her boobs done by the surgeon i'm booking with and they look amazing so that's why i'm going with him. Only seen one but feel very confident so didn't see the point seeing others.

just want it booked so I can start the countdown. Got so much boob envy on this site lol

I'm lucky that I only live 19 miles away and so can be a day case.. we'll have fabulous boobies soon chick x

I also went with transform and was quoted £3995, i managed to haggle the price down to £3495, as they wanted me to take an available appointment which was very soon after my consultation, i had seen other surgeons, and wanted to go with transform anyway, but i decided to be a bit cheeky, because it was so soon after the initial consultation and i would obviously have to leave my work sooner (I was leaving a week after anyway due to university) but i didn't tell them this ha. So in the end i managed to haggle £500 off of the price, if you can do it i'd go for it!

I would haggle as much as possible as I think you could get a little more of that price.....I paid £3250 day case with transform but that was nearly 2 years ago

Morning peggysue hun, not sure how it all works to be honest. I thought it was a standard price for the op but after reading for hours on here it made me want to try and knock some off. Even a couple of hundred will buy all the lovely new bras that i'm going to need yay x

Id haggle hun! I think you've already got a good price tbh, but, there is no harm in trying and like you say, even if you only get a couple of hundred off. Thats pretty new undies paid for!!
Good luck xxx

I paid £4000 just for implants but I wanted a specific hospital so didn't look around and I would never have gone somewhere because of price anyway as its far too important to have the right surgeon etc. That sounds a really good price as in London you can pay about £5300 for implants and uplift.

hi millie, definately try and haggle hun, you've got nothing to lose... but it does sound like a good price.
I'm paying £4895 for breast uplift and implants. And thats with 500 off for august promotion, my pcc also took another 100 off. So originally it was £5495. Give it a go!!

Wow that was so easy to do - asked if they would do the procedure for £3800 and an hour later a manager called me back and said yes! So for a 2 minute cheeky phone call I got a nice little discount. Not too bad considering I was originally quoted £3995 just for ba

Thanks for the encouragement girls x

Totally agree that the surgeon you are happy with is worth paying more for, just thought i'd give it a try and see where I got. I only saw the one surgeon as i'd seen his work on a friend and was amazed at how good it was! So if they'd said no I still would have gone with them.. can't wait to actually buy a pretty bra and want to wear it.

Well I got mine for 3495 as I had 500 off for booking before end of august, but my pcc did say it's not something they usually do so she was shocked they allowed that much to come off! But in saying that im extremely happy with my surgeon so I know I'm paying the right price and would have paid the full amount.
