BA yest: whats pain like? Hope this is useful xx

Hi girls,

So, after fighting off my cold (which is 100% better now - must b the drugs post-op!!) they put me to sleep yest n I woke up with boobies 2 hrs later!!!! :)

Right, what does it feel like post op? When i awoke, i was very sleepy (dozed a lot) but not in excruciating pain. Just felt like a had a weight on my chest. Woke at 3am in discomfort but it just feels like i have just done a massive gym work out and cant move my chest muscles due to that. It is tricky to move but not impossible - i can pour a glass of water etc.

Overall, its not horrific (so don't be scared pre-BA girls). Things may get tricky tonight when i c the kids for the first time but will let u know how that goes.....

Just wanted to post something back on here as, before, most of my posts hav been questions n I wanted to try and help others (like u hav helped me) if i can......

Btw, i went for 370Cc on PS recomm n am soooo happy - they r very natural n not too big at all. Wud reccom Spire to anyone - they hav been soooooooooo amazing! Happy to answ any questions

Congratulations hun. That's great that you are not in too much pain & coping well. It's amazing how the GA makes you feel loads better, I had a dreadful migraine when I went to sleep & woke up feeling great! Think they must have pumped me full of fluids & painkillers too, I woke up feeling totally revived!!!! Lol

My OH asked about the pain and I said the same thing about it feeling like you have just over done it in the gym as it is the only thing I could think of that he would understand.

Post-op is great for working your stomach muscles so you don't use your arms to lift yourself, lol!

Just thought I'd let you know I'm out and about today, first day back at uni and I'd highly recommend a walk about, it's made me feel so much better. I'm probably doing too much (30mins there 30 back with 9-4 in uni) and may regret it tomorrow but right now im feeling great. Side boobs a bit sore but think the walks done me good!

I walked to the bus stop yesterday to meet my OH to go to Sainsburys and although I was quite surprised how slowly I had to go cos of the tightness of my chest I felt so much better for doing it.

I am alternating between the sofa downstairs with tv and my pc upstairs today to make me move more.

Euowch.... Morning boobies - I haven't forgotten ur there!!! :/ wow! Kinda hurt this morning trying to move but i grinned n bared it! Grrrr!!!!

I'm really hopin the I will b getting better by the day cause I only have one week off work and am soooooo missing spending time wiv the kids! :( i'm hiding from them at the mo n feel awful! :( - kids r 1 and 2 n v. Boisterous! I don't fancy an elbow in the boob yet! :/ eeek! but soooo wanna giv them a cuddle :(

Ah yeah Moz, b4 the op I had a good chat with the anesthetist n i was all good to hav the op (i thankfully only had a sore throat n headache by the mon) phew!!

Sparkey- i'm so glad ur happy wiv urs n they r natural looking. I always wanted natural ones but, for some reason expected them to look bigger straight after surgery- i'm a 34D sports bra at the mo. I hope mind look like yours and i dont get boob-envy! ;) what size were u starting out (if u dont mind me asking) n did they change heaps after the op? - bigger/smaller?

I thought mine looked small straight after surgery too - I think it was because of the nightmares I had been having about looking ridiculous! I asked the nurse on a couple of occasions "are you sure I had the 525s" lol!

I am a bit sore today but ok. Think I overdid it a bit yesterday as I felt ok so I cooked dinner and did some chores. The swelling round my ribs is going down so I am now on the middle hook for the bra. I have random burning sensations and the odd twinge but nothing too bad. My boobs hurt this morning when I took my bra off which is the first time I have felt like they were going to drop off, lol!

Oh and i keep expecting to wake up and be back to the size I was. I think because the only cosmetic procedure I have done before is botox and that is not permanent it feels like I went to sleep and they inflated my boobs and as time goes on they are going to deflat slowly back to what they were - I know this probably doesn't make sense and sounds ridiculous but the more they feel like mine and the more the swelling goes doen, the more I am panicking that I am going to end up back where I was - damn brain playing tricks on me!
