Do men really like the feel of implants?

Hi, I am 1 year post BA after having 230cc Allergen high profile implants partially behind the muscle. I had a bit of breast tissue prior to surgery and was around a small 34B. I am now 34C/D depending on the bra. I must admit that I am slightly disappointed with the overall feel of my new breasts. I had hoped that eventually they would feel almost natural but that is not the case. They are at there softest when standing or sitting up but feel very hard when lying down or when your muscles are tensed. I have a new boyfriend of 4 months who immediately asked me the question whether my boobs where real. Every guy who has been near them since my surgery has spotted that they are fake. I was sort of hoping that it wouldn't be that obvious especially as I had relatively small implants. Although things are going very well with my new boyfriend, he hardly goes near my boobs during any sexual activity and I am starting to think that he doesn't like them :( I have started reading forums where most men seem to say they prefer natural breasts. I am now starting to wonder whether I should have just stuck with what I had. Any thoughts on the above???

btw it is worth mentioning that I am fairly happy with the look of my new breasts x

I feel exactly the same when I'm standing they are nice and soft but laying down they are soft at the top and hard at the bottom now my husband has not said anything negative about them and he does like to give them a good squeeze now but before he didn't like to because he thought they might break or hurt me I'd talk to the boyfriend he might be feeling the same x

I am still pre-BA but can't comment. From my OH's comments he has played with natural and enhanced boobs and his only preference is that he likes big boobs, he is not fussed weather natural or not.

My initial thought is that your boyfriend may be worried he can do you damage of similar. I have only recently found out that my OH is more gentle during s*x than he (or I) might like as he was worried about my labia piercings and he also won't play with my n*pples when I have my piercings in as he thinks he will hurt me. I have reassured him that he can't but he just doesn't get on with them. I have got rid of my labia piercings as I am not that fussed by them anymore and they have to come out for surgery anyway. My n*pple ones I take out during "play"time as a compromise as I love them.

yes i agree with what the other girls have said..... my hubby was worried about damaging them too and isn't and 'rough' with them as he was before. I had unders and told him that what he was actually feeling was my natural breast tissue on top of the implant. Since then he has felt more relaxed and gropes them a lot more!!! xxx

My husband don't care he's a bit hands on. I do think that he may just be nervous. Maybe give him some guidance so he knows it's ok. He may also not be a boob man it's rare but it does happen!

yes thats a good idea. Give them a dam good groping next time ur on top so he can see that they can take it!!!

DF is a little more gentle than he was (just for now cos still fairly early days really) but he says they feel fabulous and if his instant bo**r is anything to go by if he as much as has a little stroke then Im pretty assured hes loving the feel of them!

thanks girls. I don't know if he has ever been with someone else with implants so doesn't have much experience and maybe you are right ie he might be a bit scared of hurting me or something. It's not that he just isn't rough with them though, he hardly even touches them at all, even gently. I just hope he's not the kind of guy who may be "put off" by implants even though he has never said such a thing and our sex life generally is good. Has anyone ever come across a guy that really doesn't like implants? Obviously I was not with my boyfriend prior to the op so I can't really compare whether he preferred them pre-op. In general, would you say most of you ladies who were with your fellas prior to the op, seem to appear to like them more after the op??

yes my hubby likes them more now. I think that he just isn't a boob man..... sit him down and ask him sweet, say it in a jokey way if you're anxious about it xxx

I still think he is just worried about damaging them - my OH won't go near my boobs if I have my nipple piercings in.

The few men that have had the good fortune to get close enough to my boobs since I've had them done have all loved them, one even said he wouldn't have known they weren't real and the others have said they are slightly firmer and perkier than the real thing. My new bloke can't leave them alone. I don't know if the difference is I had overs.

wow, once again this forum has helped me soo much! thanks ladys, you are all fab!! Since I have been in such dillema with choosing a size - only size- I have started to question myself if I really want this. If I am ready to go through surgery, risking cc, infections etc. even though I have pretty breast, ok. damm small but pretty... and since two days I have been seriously asking myself, what if I don't like how the implants feel and what if my bf hates how they feel? Today I woke up thinking, maybe I should cancel it all... and then this thread comes up and I am back in the game! it seems like most guys don't mind it at all and most of you find them only slightly perkier.

but can't wait for more replies... thanks newbie251 f or bringging it up! I would talk to your new bf and ask him if he doesn't like the feel or if he is afraid of breaking/hurting? blokes are strange, but sometimes a talk is just needed! x

My hubby loves them! He can't stop trying to get a grope!! Lol. He was bad enough with my old boobs but now he's like a man obsessed!! However, I'm the one who is still very wary about him being too rough with them.

My DH was never really that bothered by boobs, but since my op that has really changed! I did have to guide him by what was ok/not okay as I had some loss of sensitivity for a while, but after that its all go :)

You need to be honest with him and say that its starting to make you feel awkward and have a chat about it. You say everyone guesses though, I can't help but question how! Your avi looks fine to me! xx

I agree with all the ladies sit down and have a chat with him. My bf was not a boob man or so he said and I was sooooo concious of my old boobs it made things difficult for me as foreplay with them is a big deal for me (is that too much info lol). But after a while I coped with hating my boobs and our sex life was great. Since having my boobs done he has enjoyed them and I think is a little jelous of them lol coz he now says I look even fitter and has hit the gym!!! but on the whole I really think he isn't a boob man but does give them the attention they need for my satisfaction and that is maybe what your man needs to do too, so honey just talk to him. xxxx

Hmmm, I have thought about this a lot. My husband is definately a boobie man, always has been, big natural boobs. Having said that he loved my prebaby boobs, though they weren't big they were gorgeous :). He's been with quite a few enhanced women, and he can tell the difference, and does prefer natural. He finds they feel firmer, and colder and don't always move as much a he'd like. It doesn't help that most women in Canada (where we used to live) have saline, I'm not gonna lie saline can feel quite firm. He still does appreciate a good boob job though, saline or silicone.

Before I used to have great looking boobs so the size didn't bother me. The fact and the matter is I don't anymore, so I can either leave them as they are, have an uplift only, or have my uplift with implants. I have given the last two options much thought in the last couple of years, and thought I might as well go to the ideal size I've wanted to be.

I'm doing this for me, and he is past caring as he's sick of hearing me go on about it. But I really do hope he likes them. I'm fully aware he prefers big natural, but as I said I never was big and he loved them, and I never have and never will have big natural boobs, so I might as well work with what I've got. I do hope I get great results though, I'm real nervous.

i have partial unders, and i dont think they feel natural at all. Theyre much firmer.

My partner loves them though. He says he actually prefers the firmness of them compared to natural boobs, much more than he thought he would.
