Worried about my boobs.... :-(

I havn't been on for a few days- really hectic!!! Hope everyone is good!!!

So I am 3 weeks PO tomorrow- loving my boobs, although they are shrinking :-( but I do have a problem- where I have the mole removed on my right boob, there has been seeping the last 24hours or so- I changed the dressing and put on clean tape, was really squeamish and there appears to be a hole?!?! Anyway, around the area is red, but not hot or swollen like normal sign of infection. I have taken some anti-biotics that I had in the cupboard- problem is I am now really nervous that something awful is going to happen... and it's christmas tomorrow!!!!!!!!!

This is my own fault I think.... I put bio-oil on the top part of my breasts, avoiding the dressings- but I have a couple of new stretch marks appeared and I have literally felt my skin stretch.

I am booked for next Friday 30th to see a nurse for dressing removal- I called up today and they said seeping isn't concerning if only a small amount and not really pusy or anything! I told them I've taken some anti-biotics I've self prescribed and they said that's fine- I'm just really worried that I might end up in hospital over christmas?!?!??!?!?!

Help please!!!!!!!!!

Anyone that's had internal bleeding or infections etc would you please just tell me what to look out for??!

What colour is the stuff that's seeping out? X

Internal bleeding would cause swelling or painful bruising, an infection would be sore, red, swollen, yellow seeping and feverish/cold/flu symptoms. Sounds like it might be stitch or something, your clinic would see you sooner or tell you to see an emergancy Dr if they thought you had an infection. Just keep the area clean and dry and hopefully it will clear up.

Thanks. It's not painful, or hard. So annoying because itsnot actually the boobs- it's the mole removal! The stuff coming out is watery blood really, but not actually bleeding if you know what I mean?!

It's just the fact that it's Christmas and all is closed for a few days that scares me- and thought of needing to see an emergency doc or something instead of spending Christmas with the kids!!!!!

Hopefully I'm just panicking unnecessarily!!!

I'm sure everthing will be fine. Try to keep it clean and dry and it will hopefully settle down again. Try not to worry. x

No not scratched it... I think the bio-oil has seeped in :-( really stupid!!!! So ladies- steer clear from using bio-oil early!! I could feel my skin stretching and have 2 tiny new stretch marks so thought I'd oil but think the oil transferred from rubbing in my bra... Hope they're ok!!

don't worry hun, i bet it will look loads better in the morning when its dried out, don't fret, doesn't sound like anything horrid xxx

also, they probably appear smaller as the swelling has gone down, but once they fluff they'll probably look bigger again, mine do xxx

I'm sure all is will with the mole. I had one removed a few weeks ago and it did the same thing. I was told just to keep it clean and dry. Also, if you can, don't put a bandage on it. Leting it air out will do wonders and a scab will form in no time.

Is the redness just around where the mole was removed or is it spreading out much further? If it's just around the mole, it coud be a sign of healing. Mine was red for several days.

Sorry I never knew I'd had replies on here- I usually get email updates but didn't!!
Well it's still weeping a tiny amount each day :-( the redness appears just around where mole was removed. I'm sure the dressings all need to come off, but I'm so squeamish! I have an appointment with the nurse Friday for dressing removal.
I would like to fluff up a bit!!!! I was with a friend of mine on boxing day who had BA- we're similar stats, she had 350cc I had 560cc and her boobs arehuge compared to mine!! Not fair!!
How long did you all leave it before going to get measured? I am still in an E or F sports bra although they have loosened a bit!
