4months post op and my right boob is quite hard..
hey ladies!!! i haven't been on for agessssss but been having a few problems recently... firstly i got measured at my local m&s, she sorted out my bras, said they were perfect, and off on my merry way i went... a few weeks later i started getting shooting pains in my boobs and quite bad jabbing pains, i was getting ready to phone mya and ask them to see me but my sister said she'd have a look and said my bras were waaayyyy too small, so i went back to m&s and got the size up and now the pains have mostly gone, but now my right boob has gone quite hard, its harder than my left, i know its only been 4months but just wondered what everyones boobs on here were like after 4 months??

Hi dolly! Yes those salesgirls can be hopeless with the measuring tape ugh!!
Has it recently gone hard, like it was soft and then firmed up? Or is it just taking longer to drop and fluff than the other one? I've noticed mine fluctuate soft and firm throughout the day and month (probably hormonal and also depending on how much exercise I do) and I'm at 16 weeks.
I doubt the issue was caused by your bras if that's what you're wondering...may want to just ring up your PS and let him have a look...but another thing to try is go back to sportsbras for a week or 2 and see if that helps relax the firmer one

lol yes they are! i got measured in la senza as a 30D, i was like... hmmm 1. i am NOT a 30, i am a 32/34 and 2. i am definatly NOT a D, i ended up not even fitting into a G cup in la senza, she looked really embarrised.
well it was soft but then i'm not sure, it could of been changing throughout like yours, i might start having a feel at different times in the day :D
thanks nat, i hope you don't have to have a re-op, mine didnt hurt asmuch as my first op but my scars are HUGE now, well to me they are. fingers crossed everything sorts itself out x

Yea my rightie actually gets achey and feels weird and firmer at times, but as long as it's not really painful I just take off my bra, put on a snug vest top and just try to relax it

Re: 4months post op and my right boob is quite hard..
yea i am too actually - in fact, since they've dropped, I've been missing them being really high and firm...even though they look more natural now i guess it's inevitable that they're going to eventually sag since they're so heavy...but i never had that problem before with my little bits!
I've compromised...I have these vest tops with like a built in extra layer of fabric that serves as a "sort of" bra...just gives support without being at all binding...and i wear those at night. that way, they can breathe but be supported at the same time!

oh my gosh i see them in primark all the time but i never thought of it like that, i just thought of it as for people with saggy boobs wanting them to look less droppy at bed time whilst being comfortable... lol right i'm going to get some of them!!!

Re: 4months post op and my right boob is quite hard..
Hi, my right biob a lot harder to but had a few problems with it from the start and like Natty it's still not settling into its pocket. I would 100% ask your ps hun to put your mind at ease.
Natty you say you may need a reop do you mind me asking what your ps has said he can do only my ps has said there's nothing he can surgically do but feel like I'm being fobbed off.
Sorry to hijack your thread Dolly x

If your one boob has always been a bit firmer then that's fine its just taking a little longer to heal. If it was soft and has got firmer I would get an appointment to get checked over by your ps
