Not the size I asked for. What do i do?
So its been 2 1/2 months since my BA. 2 weeks before my surgery I emailed the office and told them I was scared I wouldn't end up with the size I wanted. That maybe we should go higher than the 427cc we had talked about. That maybe going bigger would give me what I wanted. Maybe even the 455cc. So I showed them 2 pictures of what I wanted to end up with and to please show the doctor. The lady said she would show him .So she emailed me back saying the doctor said 455cc would give me similar size as the pictures. that he would recommend not going smaller or bigger. I told him my concern about not wanting to end up unhappy after spending $7300 and not end up with what I wanted. Still a few days prior, I was still panacking and emailed them again, that I was still scared and to let's do 492cc again for the fear of not being the size I wanted as shown in the pictures I emailed him. Well, what I was really scared of, happend. $7300 later and im no where near the size I had been wanting. I see him again in 2 weeks. I DO NOT want to pay again, but I feel that I shouldnt have to but I don't know what to say. It's to a point where it has depressed me so much and the thought of spending so much of my money to end up unhappy makes me sick to my stomach. :'(

A surgeon will never be able to guarentee a size, so they will only attempt to get you as close to your desired size without giving you possible complications. If you had under the muscle implants the muscle may be holding the implant down and given some more time you might find they look completely different. It will be a few months before you see your final size

Re: Not the size I asked for. What do i do?
UPDATE: So I ended up emailing my doctor expressing how I felt and that I was very unhappy. He had his assistant call me three weeks later because he wanted to talk to me. So yest, I went to that appt and he told me he did not want me to be unhappy and that he will put bigger implants in for me. :) he's charging me very very little so I'm extremely excited now!!

Brilliant news hun, make sure you go quote a lot of ccs bigger to notice a difference
Re: Not the size I asked for. What do i do?
Well, I have 492cc now and he wants to do 600cc. He says going 100 more will be able to see a difference.

Re: Not the size I asked for. What do i do?
Are you changing profile? I would think it would give you a cup size bigger (1cm)
Re: Not the size I asked for. What do i do?
Lol, guess I should do that huh?? I'll try and see if i can figure out how to do it. And you think it'll give me a whole cup size bigger?? :) I'm a 38 DD now. But they do NOT look that big. Mayb a small D. I spent so much on bras too! So now I may have to buy me all new ones! I'm excited tho. I hope it does give me a cup size bigger. I looked it up using the rice test and it says like half a cup more on each one. Figured, it'll make a difference, YES, but didn't think a whole cup size bigger. I don't know... We will see!

Re: Not the size I asked for. What do i do?
Brenda1980: You are SO lucky that your doctor agreed to do that for you!! Mine tells me, "oh well, too bad." So I am going to do a re-op with another doctor to fix the problems from the first operation and go larger too! I'll have boobs over $10K by the time I'm finished!! I have to pay full price for the 2nd surgery too. BOO!
BTW, the implants I have now are unders and one 'fluffed'/relaxed before the other and it was nearly 6 months before they both softened and got larger. So don't fret... they fluff a bit more as time goes by and the muscles relax.

Re: Not the size I asked for. What do i do?
Oh wow! That's what I was thinking would happen to me too. Since I'm not one to ever speak my mind or complain about anything it took a lot of courage for me to do it. Figured it was easy through email first! Lol. But I got my call TODAY, and it keeps getting better. They got me 50% discount so I'm only paying $900. I believe your doctor should have done something more for you as well. That's a lot of money to spend and not be satisfied. Well, I just hope mine goes well and I can smile and say I LOVE THEM! So I go in this Thursday, Feb. 2nd! Such short notice since I just got the call back today. I'm excited but scared at the same time. Also, its 616cc we switching to. :)

Re: Not the size I asked for. What do i do?
Good luck honey....the 600s will be a MUCH better fit...what are your stats? How tall, weight etc as that all effects the look of an implant size...also I HOPE YOU ARE NOT STILL ADDING 4" TOP YOUR BAND WIDTH!!!! Measure your ribs under bust snugly and the nearest even number is your band size...ie. 29" = 30" band. 30" = 30" band. 38 suggests you are a curvier woman .... so your stats will give the best idea of what implant and profile will be best...xxxxx

Thank you ladies!!!! And I love the word you chose!! "CURVIER" But yes, I am. I am 5'0 and 150 lbs. So I am very short. Knowing my stats, what can you tell me about how it may be?

Re: Not the size I asked for. What do i do?
It is easy to suggest a larger cc for you as it will fill your wider ribcage nicely... but the thing is it all comes down to the cc and profile you want. Sounds to me you want a bigger boob and on a shorter height I think the Mod plus- HP would prob fit best. The mod and Mod plus are flatter projection, not flat just FLATTER, and if you dont want the short and stocky look I would go the HP....now this means you need the bigger cc to fill the MP/HP for your BWD (what each individual boob measures straight across without wrapping). If your Base Width Diameter is 14cm for e.g. then you need an implant in the profile you want that has that as a diameter...550-650cc...but if the cc is too much when you tried it on as a sizer (I hope you did get to do this), then you want less cc...always measure cc first then pick a profile based on your BWD.
I hope this makes sense and isn't too confusing!!! xxxx

Just wanna add, I used Mentors guide here in the HP...

the implants are based on your BWD, usually it is okay to go within !cm either way...xxx

Re: Not the size I asked for. What do i do?
Yes, I dis try on sizers. And as for placement, considering I did not get the lift, because he said I was borderline and didn't need it I chose not to. So I am not able to get HP and even this 2nd time around tomorrow when I go, it'll be the same. I will not get a lift so I'm assuming it'll still be MP. He had told me that he recommend me to wait and not get a lift for now, but yet, when I started to mention about not being big enough he kept using the fact that I didn't get lift as a reason why the implants I have in now did not get its full shape. I just hope going bigger without the lift still, will end up looking ok anyway. That's the only fear I have.
