Numb boobs
Hi ,
I'm now 3 days after my op and feeling fine! Any early discomfort has gone and I spent 3 hours out in town yesterday but taking it easy at home today.
But, my boobs feel quite numb. I'm sure it's normal and everything, but it makes them feel like they don't belong! That and the fact that they're very firm with no movement at all. How long will it take before that starts to go?

Ooh, an airing! That must be nice!
I'm waiting for the sutures to come out next Friday before I'll be prepared to do that. I still think they're going to drop off LOL

Re: Numb boobs
My left nipple is still numb and the areas around my vertical incisions. My boobs are still softening up, but I found that as soon as I started sleeping on my front as 4 weeks pot op they softened very quickly xx

Well, It's not just me then! It's a bit like when you have a jab at the dentists and the tongue and lips don't feel like they belong to you anymore. Well, sort of like that...
I've got a tiny bit of movement 4 days PO. At least I can gently push them together a bit now when I couldn't at all 2 days ago. I gave them an airing while I sat in the bath this morning. At least the stretched skin looks amazingly smooth!

Re: Numb boobs
Mine felt like mine about 6 weeks post op and they got less numb as the months went by. Feeling comes back bit by bit, But they will stop feeling heavy and like they will fall off when the swelling goes down.
