totally numb for 2 years and now sharp pains
Hello ladies! Thought I'd just check with you lot, I had my ba back in june 2009 and lost all feeling apart from my cleavage. In the last week my nipples have been sore to dry after a bath altho no feeling when touched gently, and I've had some sharp stabbing pains all across them that make me jump. Reckon I may be getting some sort of feeling back??? Knowing my luck I will just as I reach the 20 year mark and need em replaced hahaha x

Hi hun, My sensation is different to how it was before , my left has definately got sensation although still a little sore to the touch but my righty feels numb but sooooo sore if touched. Do u think this means i will get sensation back or do u think it will stay numb? I have been a bit concerned at this although as i always said i'd rather have big boobies with no sensation than be flat as a pancake!lol Hope urs comes back and the pain goes xxx

I'm quite numb from the nipple down & have been wondering how many people get the sensation back. Although kind of numb to touch, I do have some sensation in so much as they are sore if I brush them against something, weird feeling! Fingers crossed for you Hun. xxx

Yep,sounds like your feeling is coming back! Sharp pains tend to be a sign of nerves healing. I'm only 3 weeks PO but I have that too, mostly numb from the nipple down, but very sore when clothes brush over them. Luckily my feeling has improved so much already,I didn't really want to be numb!
I just hope that we all get *proper* feeling back, not just hyper-sensitive nipples!
