Re: december buddies
Thanks Sharon,
I hope you breeze it too. The worst thing is that I might crash and burn tomorrow. On the bright side Mr Payne said that I am allowed a very very small glass of mulled wine each night over Christmas as long as it is very small.x

Re: december buddies
Thanks Cookie you must be healing fairly well now.
Thanks Gillmoo, it will be the best thing you have ever done. 12 days ago I was so worried now I can start looking at the kind of underwear I will be buying in a few weeks time. I can guarantee that I will never ever purchase sensible underwear of sports bras ever again.x

Re: december buddies
Redhead1, I've booked to see a surgeon with Transform next month but will call THG tomorrow for a consultation. I am near Burton on Trent so not too far away. You have made me feel more positive about having it done as I've had people tell me I'm crazy. I want them done for me and no one else. I was always anti boob job until I had my three children and also recently losing weight. I hate looking in the mirror.
When I have mine done I hope I would be first as I'll be a nervous wreck. I'm not good with needles so goodness knows how I will be.
Natrelle implants, are they the lifetime implants? Can I ask how much you paid as I spoke to a lady at THG a few days ago and she quoted £4400 for the lifetime and £3995 for 10 year ones

Re: december buddies
I paid £4k for the lifetime ones. They have a lot of special offers where you get £500 off definitely worth keeping your eye out for. I booked my op back in August because they had a special offer on then. I think that is why I was top of the list today. Although I do care what other people think the only people who's opinions I value are those close to me and they all know how much I wanted this done and all of them are supportive. Everyone has insecurities and lets face it if penis enlargements were as straight forward as boob jobs us ladies wouldn't be able to book an appointment, the men would steal all the surgeons!!
Low self esteem is crap, I have had it all my life but I know that today after a 45 minute procedure the way I feel about myself has already changed. Good Luck and only listen to positive people.xx

Re: december buddies
You are such an inspiration. It's true what you say about men. I'm sure they'd all be queuing up to have the op. I think THG have an offer on now, book before end of December and have surgery before the end of February I think £500 off.
I do have low self esteem and I hope I have the courage to go through with it. I'm such a coward but like I said, from reading your post it's made me feel more positive.
I hope you sleep well. I like to sleep on my stomach so there would be none of that for quite some time xx

Re: december buddies
I was sent home this morning early. We went to Tesco which was heaving to get another sports bra so that I can wash one and wear one. I was a bit worried about being bumped but everyone was buying food rather than clothes so it was quiet around there. I must say I haven't had any pain killers at all. Very slight discomfort but when I get a twinge I pull my top out look down and smile. Mr Paynes genius has meant that I am well on the way to recovery. I know if I put my heart into it I could do some light house work today but it is great lying here watching my boyfiend potter around the lounge!!
I think my surgeon is a genius. He wouldn't let me go too big, this is the biggest he would let me go. The only 2 days before when I felt happy about my boobs was the day my milk came in when I had my sons. That is exactly what they look like now. If I was 20 years younger I would probably want to look like Jordan but now they look similar to how they did in my super padded gel bras + chicken fillets but it is all real instead of padding.
You have had three kids the pain will be a breeze compared to that and it won't last as long!! I like sleeping on my stomach too but if you are tired you will sleep! It will be the best money you ever spend. The hospital staff said they had never seen anyone grin as much as I did yesterday.

I'm sat at working wishing I was a home. I've told my boss I'm going at 12 whether he likes it or not haha!!
You're doing really well and to go shopping too!! I'm definately going to call them today if they're open and make an appointment.
You must rest for a few days and not overdo things. Were you nervous when you went in for the op?

Re: december buddies
My bosses sent me home on Wednesday because I was so nervous I was shaking and messing everything up at work. Because I was called staight up to my room yesterday and virtually straight in for surgery there was no time to worry. I did almost have a panic attack when I walked into the operating theatre but within 5 mins you fall asleep and wake up with the boobs of your dreams.
I am a bit uncomfortable but not in pain it feels a bit like someone is squeezing them a little hard. But when I give them a light rub the twinge goes. There were ladies waiting to be called up to their rooms when I left. The quicker you make that first step, the sooner you will be happy with yourself. I think as long as you book the appointment by the end of the month they will honour the discount even if you can get a consultation till January. Ask for a consultation with Mr Payne if he is not the one for you there is nothing stopping you seeing a different ps or going to a different company.

Re: december buddies
I tried to call them today but had to leave a message on the answer machine grrr!!
lol omg must feel strange actually walking into the theatre. Yes my boss would probably have to send me home too but I would rather keep busy to take my mind off things, not that it will help. I would hate to be the last one in theatre. Boobs of my dreams, now that would be nice. I dressed this morning and looked in the mirror and thought I can't wait to wear a bra and actually fill it. I went into New Look yesterday and there were so many bras on sale but I wouldn't buy as it would be a waste of money.
I can't imagine how they feel. It must feel strange touching them. Where else would I get away with asking these questions ha! What size do you think you are now?

Re: december buddies
They do look like they have just been plonked on at the moment but when I put my clean bra on earlier there still wasn't any bruising so the arnica tablets must be working. It is a nice feeling knowing that as long as I take it easy they are going to stay looking magnificent. It is going to take a lot of getting used to being busty!!
We went to get a new sports bra on the way home today they have all been reduced to £4 so at that price I can afford to buy new ones whenever I am passing. There was so much pretty underwear in Tescos. Although I have always liked nice matching stuff there never seems to be anything in the A/B cups. There was loads of stuff I could have bought today. I can't wait until I can get myself a whole new drawer of pretty underwear. But I am going to be in sensible sports bras for another 6 weeks or so. I measured myself this afternoon to make sure I was buying the right size bras. I measure 32" round my ribcage at the moment so you need to add 4" which makes me a 36" which I think will shrink a bit back to a 34". Round my actual boob I am measuring nearly 40" so 36" is an A, 37" a B, 38" a C and 39" and a bit is a DD. A lot of people forget to add the 4" so end up with bras that are too small. So I am currently a 36DD. If you do get it done you will find that the surgeons don't really know exactly what size you are going to be so you have to buy several bras so that you can choose the best for when you come round. I underestimated how puffed up I would be and the bra I had on yesterday was quite painful by the evening when my other half went and bought me one the next size up.xx

Re: december buddies
Hi Redhead and HLT 67 - glad you are healing well Red, I am not doing too bad either, like you one day on. I am also feeling quite comfy but expecting a downfall, but it will be great if it stays the same. It's more bruising down the sides than anything else.
I had my BA done under local anaesthetic so not feeling at all groggy a friend recommended the surgeon as she was petrified of going under I chose him not because I was frightened of going under, but wanted to be in and out as quick as possible and recovery asap.
Whether you go under or not, the results are the best ever, for me the discomfort of being awake was instantly forgotten the minute I looked at the results and was able to get off the op table within 10 mins of stitches and being cleaned, where I walked over to a full length mirror to have a look. Good Luck H. Happy healing Red xxx

Re: december buddies
hi Chrissy ... I think I would panic if I had a local anaesthetic. It would be so good to have it done and feel fine and not groggy from the GA. Were you given anything to calm you down or were you ok with it?
Redhead ... I'll make a note of what you said about the sports bra sizing after surgery, and the arnica tablets.
I've read some stories from ladies who have had complications, wish I hadn't. It's still good to know what could go wrong though.
Take it easy ladies x

Re: december buddies
Happy Titsmas everyone!
I'm feeling good now and even managed a plunge bra to a Christmas do last night. The silly thing I did was carry home a 12 piece dinnerware set on Wednesday. I had to stop a few times and curse myself for being so daft. Still I seem OK. The numbness I had has been replaced by a heightened sensitivity of the nipples! But my new boobs are softening up bit by bit.

Hey ladies,
how is everyone doing?
Devagirl - healing nicely?
Peggysue and smallblue - both ok?
i am good. had a disappointing xmas as my son wasn't well on xmas eve and i wasn't well on the day! still felt sick most of today! gutted!my husband is off next week though and I work evenings so hoping to have a few nice relaxing days and evenings (when I am not working!) drinking and making up for it!
I tried no bra-ing it the other day for a bit of jiggy but they felt really sore and aching after a short while! DH asked if they were heavy, i said no but they've always been supported before, think they are actually a little heavy! gonna take some time getting used to them!
and not sure if i should buy a bigger bra, already in an E but keep getting lines from the stiching of the bra indented in my boobs - is it too small?
(Apologies for mammoth post - at work and BORED!!! only chance i get to come on here for more then 5 mins!)

Re: december buddies
I'm good thanks 703b7. Hope you are lots better. Sorry your Xmas wasn't too good. Mine was very quiet this year.
Rushed out today to pick up a new sports bra. I have been wearing a 34C since my op and the swelling going down has made it loose. I'm now wearing a 32D! Couldn't get 30 band but a 32 will be more comfortable for now. I'm well happy with that. And a cleavage seems to be taking place too. Just hope i stay around the D range but still too early days. X

Re: december buddies
I'm good thanks! I've worn underwired bras a few times with no problems (I want to wear a plunge bra for NYE!) but still wear my sports bras to bed. Maybe I should try bra-less soon?
The new boobs are softening up but I know it will take time to "drop" and, with my wide ribcage, to fluff up enough to get a nice decent cleavage without to much pushing together!
I seem to have settled on a C cup - for now - but am getting quite sensitive nipples at the moment!

Wow Red they look amazing! You must be very happy them. Thank you for sharing. I'm sure mine have grown in the last 8 days. I noticed after day 2 they had growth surge. Want them to drop a bit now. I'm not sure if my stitches are dissolvable but will be finding out next Thursday when the dressings finally come. Can't wait. Have your dressings come off yet?x

Re: december buddies
I am thrilled with them. Stitches out tomorrow. I know they don't like kids there but my 8 year old will have to come. Luckily he isn't at all fazed by it. My only worry is my car is a 1972 VW Camper so no power steering!! Luckily the hospital is only 40 mins even in that. I have been driving since 3 days po in my bfs and oldest sons but they both are using their cars so I am just going to have to take it easy. x
